The proximity to the airport was great for a brief overnight stay. It was also fantastic to have someone there 24/ given we arrived at midnight and were collected the following morning at 5.45am

Receptionist was really nice, showed me everywhere and I could see she helped other guests and went beyond to help them. She told me where to get breakfast (next door) and I like that there were rooms for women only. Check in was easy and the place is very clean. I paid 2 000 colones (1 300 colones according to the meter plus tip) for the taxi from the airport. It was a 5-7 minutes drive but honestly I don't recommend going there by foot from the airport, no sidewalk, highways only. Once you pass your luggage to security at the airport, go to the right desk "taxi" and ask for one. The person will assign you a driver and ask where you are going. These are the legit safe cabs to take, the orange ones. They will put the taxi meter on. I didn't have to ask for it.

The hostel was very close to the airport and easy to drive to. The host was at reception upon and arrival and very helpful and the room was a good size and very clean. Overall it was good value and did the job!

So close to the airport no stress just a short hope skip jump over there highway and you are on time for you flight!

It was very close to the airport...simple, clean...nothing fancy but worked perfect for an early morning flight and final night accommodation near the airport

Really close to the airport. The shower was warm and the bathroom was clean. There was air-conditioning in the room and plenty of space. The bed was comfortable and the room provided privacy. There is a supermarket down the road and the kitchen is well equipped enough to cook a good meal (although no kettle)

The 6 person room was a little cramped but for the time that I was there I was either alone in the room or or 1-2 other people. Beds were comfy. Good showers. Decent kitchen. It is very close to the airport (which means airplane noise, but you get used to it quickly) if you don't mind crossing a usually busy road then the airport is a 5 minute walk which is great. If you want to avoid the road then a taxi ride is the way and is probably longer than you would expect. The staff are very helpful and willing happily arrange taxis for for or even sometimes take you were you need to go themselves. The receptionist drove me into San Jose one morning. She had an accident with her car in the afternoon just before coming to pick me up to come back but arranged for me to be picked up by someone else so that I wasn't left in the lurch. There are a few shops and a couple of restaurants and bars close by.

We arrived late at the airport, so we were just looking for a cheap place to stay for one night. It’s close to the airport, inexpensive, and nothing special — but it was perfect for a one-night stay.

Incredible resource for people needing a pit stop in San Jose before going remote in Costa Rica. You can store your luggage before and after your remote trip until you take off on your final flight home. 24x7 english speaking desk attendant means you can get help planning the rest of your trip at any time of the day if you land late or leave early. The proximity to the airport meant that we booked an uber to the airport with a pit stop at toucan to just pick up our things and get on the plane. SO EASY! Prices are so cheap!

“Reasonable priced hotel, close to the airport”

I was looking for a reasonably priced hotel close to the airport and that's what I got.

The best thing is the location, if you know the way (tricky road crossing) you can possibly walk to the airport in 10 mins. The bed is comfortable.

Location is great.. Close to airport Gabby is super helpful and kind.
