“Fabulous”
A beautiful colonial style residence surrounded by gardens where we saw Toucans and Mot Mot. Lovely breakfast and friendly staff. Very close to the airport .

A wonderfully welcoming place to arrive in Costa Rica. As a family, we had a huge room, which was very comfortable. The historic mansion is set in a beautiful park, creating a very special atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and served by the pool, which made it even more enjoyable. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night at the end of our trip, but we would have loved to stay longer.

Hacienda was a great stay - excellent location, clean and comfortable, with a large bed, beautiful gardens, and a lovely pool. Breakfast was great, wildlife was right on your doorstep, and the staff were all friendly and welcoming.

It was extremely peaceful for our first night in Costa Rica and yet so close to the airport! It was lovely to hear the sounds of the jungle and wake up to a morning dip in the pool followed by a tasty breakfast 😍

I really enjoyed both of my stays at Hacienda Escondida. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic. I had no trouble sleeping as both rooms I stayed in were quiet and comfortable. While I didn't take a dip in the pool, it looked really clean and well-maintained. Finally, I feel the hotel is great value. I highly recommend Hacienda Escondida to anyone overnighting in Alajuela on their way to or from the airport.

Beautiful hotel a short drive from the airport. Much nicer than other soulless airport hotels, gorgeous pool area and friendly staff. Room was very comfortable. Tea and coffee available all day was a nice touch. Breakfast service was lovely - we almost didn’t want to leave!

“A charming and tranquil place with wonderful hosts that feels like a small tropical oasis in the cit”
Hacienda Escondida is a peaceful hidden gem surrounded by trees, birds, and nature, which makes it feel like a calm oasis in the middle of San José. Rosalba was incredibly kind and welcoming, and all the staff were very accommodating throughout the stay. The atmosphere is charming, authentic, and very relaxing.

Beautiful swimming pool and grounds, which we could stay around until we left for our flight. Rooms simple but clean with hot water in the bathroom. Nice breakfast and staff.

“Best Place close to the airport!”
Wow. This is the perfect place to be if you arrive after a long distance flight and really gotta sleep. It is so close to the airport. All the stuff was friendly. The breakfast by the pool was lovely. I would always come back here if I need a close place to stay near the airport. The area of the Thank you!
