“Good breakfast!”
Very friendly family-run accommodation with 5 rooms. Fan, kitchen, bathroom, parking in the courtyard, and a pool. Everything was clean. The breakfast was good and freshly prepared. If you have a later flight, you can still stay in the courtyard after checkout for as long as you like. Cons: The accommodation is rather expensive considering the room facilities. Aircraft noise and street noise can be clearly heard.

“Close to the airport and great value”
Very close to the airport (the previous place we stayed did not put a correct address so it was nice to find out this one really was close to the airport), nice big rooms, free parking, friendly welcome. Recommend and would stay again.

We loved everything about this property: the airport location, the size of the room, the friendly host and the pool area. It was absolutely perfect for a night before our flight the next day. The host was incredibly kind; we had an early flight so we missed breakfast and she made us a packed lunch to take with us. The free shuttle service was a particular highlight as we were at the airport in less than 5 minutes. I felt like I could have stayed for another night or two and it was a shame to leave so early. I would highly recommend Dos Palmas and will definitely be booking again if I ever return to Costa Rica. Thank you very much!

Great location for transit to and from San Jose airport, 5 mins taxi ride. Good selection of very reasonably priced eateries within walking distance. Breakfast was good and the added bonus is a complimentary taxi ride to airport included. Lovely hot shower and facilities including a cute pool area .

Very friendly service! We travelled with our 1 year old son and he get a extra child bed. Shuttle service to the airport and including a lunch paket. Apartment is perfect located directly next to the airport and in the same street are a lot of rental car conpanies. Restaurants and little shops in walking distance.

“Felt like our second home in Costa Rica”
The host was very helpful and friendly, it was a nice place to arrive in Costa Rica. We felt very safe and we got a lot of advice for our trip in Costa Rica. The proximity to the airport was a plus, there was even a free taxi service to the airport, which made this stay even more wonderful.

“Comfy and convenient”
It was the perfect place to rest after 24hours of travelling. The location is really convenient, right by the airport. It’s clean and comfortable! The owner is so helpful and friendly! It was a great first night for me in Costa Rica

“Most flexible hosts I have ever seen in my life.”
The owner Peter was just incredible. Despite an 8 hours delay flight he has been waiting for me all night til 3:30 am. It was so stressful to arrive in an unknown country at this time of the day. He gave me instructions to take a uber from the airport and in no time I was at his place. His wife made the first Costa Rica morning wonderful.
