Rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott San Jose Airport Alajuela are bright and spacious. Each one includes free Wi-Fi and wired internet, flat-screen cable TV and a sofa. Bathrooms offer free toiletries. The hotel’s Centro restaurant and bar serves international cuisine and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere. Other restaurants serving a variety of international cuisine are located a walking distance away. Courtyard by Marriott San Jose Airport Alajuela has a 24-hour reception, where you can buy newspapers and souvenirs. Car rental agencies can be found nearby. “Lowest Marriot I've stayed in the last 10 years, personnel was on point with expectations”
Courtyard by Marriott is supposed to be a good-quality hotel. I've stayed in 3-star hotels better than this one. That's a profound misalignment between my experience/expectations and what I've encountered in other Marriott's hotels in the World

Great location for the airport with a shuttle every 30mins. There’s a mall within walking distance which was great! The front staff including the restaurant were all super lovely to interact with. Stayed here twice during our trip. Highly recommend!

Room was comfortable, clean, quiet and had everything we needed. The breakfast was superby 10/10! Loved the Chef making omelettes with ingredients you picked. Loved that and just what we needed before continuing our journey. The hotel Shuttle made is all so easy.

Very well run hotel, comfortable beds and quiet. We were able to extend our room stay until our evening flight which was really helpful for a small additional cost. There is a Walmart next door and a Shopping Mall 10 minutes walk away. All really useful when waiting for your flight or starting your journey.

Clean comfortable hotel. Very convenient for a stay close to the airport. It does have good facilities (gym, swimming pool). Lovely bakery 5 min walk away.
