We had a great stay at Casa Mariana. Our room was quite spacious, with a big king size bed and a queen bed, both very comfortable. Gisel and her family are amazing hosts, very welcoming and kind, we felt like visiting family. They were full of good tips on what to do in the Alajuela province and finally we had a nice Tico breakfast all together on our last morning there. I would totally recommend staying at Casa Mariana. Pura Vida! 🤗💚

Nice people. We arrived first night, got our rental car first and then drove here. I didnt realize Alamo was between airport and city center, while this place is on the other side of the airport. Just whatsapp the owner when you arrive then she will open the gate and assist you in parking on the tight and sloped parking strip. Very kind owners. Comfortable first nights sleep. Nothing for tourists in this area, seems like a residential area mostly. Payment in cash (usd or crc).

The hostess is very charming and gave us a tour of her garden. The accommodation is modest but very clean with all the cups/plates/silverware you need if you want to eat at home. The hostess organized a taxi for 4am for us. We stayed 2 nights to recover a bit before flying and it was very pleasant.

Very friendly people and helpfull in fixing a piece of luggage we needed.

Great host family. Very helpful with everything. Nice and clean rooms. Close enough to the airport to begin or end a trip in Costa Rica. We enjoyed two stays.

The location near the international airport in San Jose was very close, 10 minute taxi ride. The room was very nice with a comfortable big bed, very spacious, & good bathroom with hot water in shower..important to me! My host, Guisselle, was wonderful. She is very welcoming and helpful. She made me a great breakfast in the morning, and we ended up talking for a long time, and I learned a lot from her about Costa Rica & where I might want to buy a house one day.

I can highly recommend staying at this accomodation. The room is very spacious, with 2 big beds, a small kitchen (no stove or microwavw) with a fridge and a private bathroom. It had everything I needed. What I really appreciated was the help of Guiselle, owner of the accomodation. She helped me with reccomendations about what to do and transport. She also does laundry, which is very useful. By Taxi or uber its quite close to the airport, which is very convenient. Thank you so much Guiselle.

The best thing for me was the host family. I felt super welcome and it was a very nice atmosphere having breakfast with in their living room.

Don’t go  There Is You arrive After 11pm ! The gate was closed and nobody answered to my call however that we were in contact via WhatsApp two hours before ! I and no bell at the gate ! I was afraid to be obliged to go back to the airport without any room to sleep !

The owner and her daughter were lovely and very helpful. The room was large with 2 comfortable beds- I only needed one. The price was good. The breakfast was good. Water was provided. It was a quiet space.

“Great place near the airport!”

Extremely nice and super welcoming family. The apartment was very clean and comfortable (great mattress) and the breakfast yummy. The kitchen had a rice cooker, coffee machine, microwave and electric pan and the owner gave us some oil and salt for cooking. Very close to the airport (took us 15 minutes with Uber).

It was immaculate and it was good to be out of the city. it had a nice outdoor seating area. The breakfast was excellent! Guiselle and her husband were so welcoming and helpful. We loved chatting to them. We would definitely recommend staying here.
