“Convenient, clean, lovely lady”
Lovely lady (kindly allowed a 10pm check in as we had been held up by terrible traffic). Nice to have breakfast. Place was very clean. Very close to airport so convenient for transfers.

“Nice family "hotel"”
Regular house converted to few guest rooms and run by family. Quiet neighborhood and no other guests around. Spacious and clean rooms with good beds and showers. Friendly old lady run the show and made slow but great breakfast for us. Private gated parking and easy access from/to SJO by car. Card payment accepted.

She made eggs how you requested them. It included good coffee and a bowl of fruit. There was also processed cheese and ham. Wonderful lady

“Near the airport”
A room with a bathroom in someone's house. The place is clean and the host is a kind woman who only speaks Spanish. The location near the airport is convenient for a night after a long flight or an early departure. Breakfast was OK and parking a bit tight.

This location is OK if you just want to get to SJO airport early in the morning. However, it is located away from the center of Alejula, so there are no nearby restaurants or things to do.

Fantastic spot for a night or two of stay! I loved it so much on my first night I rebooked later in my trip when I was headed down to the coast. The host is amazing and very caring and they have two lovely cats - Lola and Bebe! Highly recommend. Great value for price!!
