We were looking for an accommodation close to the airport. It's a short drive with parking right in front. Even though we arrived late Esteban checked on us and made sure that we have everything we need. For breakfast you gotta help yourself which we loved, they had everything we needed: bread, eggs, cereals, fruits, tea, coffee, juice... And the place itself is so cozy! With a lovely backyard. We would always come back ❤️

Great spot for a night stay before a flight from San Jose airport. Very sweet place which used to be the owners parents house. Room was clean. Nice to have a communal kitchen. The little garden/ courtyard was also very nice and well maintained. Friendly staff. We were also able to arrange an airport transfer with the hotel (at an additional cost) which was helpful.

Location

Alice y Juancito Boutique Hotel is an incredibly charming and cozy place. Our room (number 5 – the deluxe room with dark blue walls and matching curtains) was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had a lovely view of the garden. The host was very friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect — just a few minutes from the airport. You don’t have to travel all the way into San José, and it’s an ideal starting point for the rest of your trip. Supermarkets, local sodas, and a small center are all nearby. The only minor downside was the mattress in room 5, which felt a bit outdated, so we didn’t sleep as comfortably as hoped. Overall, a very pleasant stay and definitely recommended.

“Another perfect stay”

This accommodation is perfect for stopovers. Just 10 minutes drive from the airport. Our second stay in 3 weeks, once at the start of great holiday and now at the end. Don’t bother hiring a car after a long flight and arriving late at night.. stop here and collect your car the next day.. we’ve done the same on return and saved two days car hire. Also it’s better driving by day

Very helpful from the start, offered transportation to and from airport. They offer this service around the clock. Check in is very easy, all done by codes sent just before our stay. Rooms are really cosy and fresh. There is a kind of help yourself breakfast. There is a lovely living room and kitchen for guests as well as outside area to just relax. It offers secure accommodation and very kind owners

Alice & Juancito is a great option if you need to stay one night near the airport. The price is very reasonable and it’s perfect for a short stop before or after a flight. The cleanliness was excellent — everything was very tidy and well maintained, which made the stay comfortable and pleasant. Overall, it’s a simple place but very convenient, with a good price and great cleanliness. I would definitely recommend it for anyone needing a quick overnight stay near the airport.

“Delightful little gem with a sweet little garden to relax in.”

We really liked how unique this place was. It is nicely decorated with a beautiful courtyard. Tho it is in the heart of a city, it felt very safe, private, like an oasis in suburbia. It was within easy walking of many amenities. The owner/ operator suggested some very nice restaurants and attractions. The kitchenette was well stocked and clean. We would 💯 stay here again.

We were flying home from Panama and stayed for two nights. We visited the excellent free museum in Alajuela the day we arrived and took the bus to San Jose and then on to Cartago (we had already visited San Jose) the next day. I recommend both.

“Overnight at SJO”

Convenient to the airport! Airport pickup and dropoff provided as an extra service. Common kitchen and seating area was really nice for relaxing, eating and even doing some work. Great wifi signal throughout property. Very comfy bed and pillows, Large shower with hot water. Esteban was very nice and helpful!

For the price, this was a great value solution for one night on arrival in San Jose. Esteban picked us up, which we really appreciated. The bed was comfortable. The lounge was great to chill in . Breakfast was very flexible.
