“Amazing location, great food, walks and peace and relaxation”

Amazing base for beautiful walks. Lucy’s cooking was amazing. The sense of peace while swimming in the pool or relaxing in the beautiful garden made our holiday.

Beautiful property located in the heart of delightful Alajar. Lucy and Angel. our host were fantastic making sure we were comfy and had places to eat in their peaceful little village. The bedroom and shared sitting room are very tastefully fitted with good facilities. The garden and pool area are stunning. Very impressed with the sustainable approach in the property. Breakfast was excellent, varied with local food and home cooked jams and patee delicacies which were amazing. Thank you Lucy and Angel for a delightful and most memorable stay. We wish we had stayed longer and had been there during the week to try your evening meals as well. We will be back to enjoy more of the lovely local walks.

Great location in Alajar, a charming white pueblo in the Sierra de Aracena. Gorgeous area with fantastic walking. Lucy and Angel are great hosts. Their home cooked food was probably the best we've had on this trip. Great local beers and wine. Delicious local ham and meat products. This is a high end B&B.

We had an authentic Spanish experience, provided by the very friendly owners. Their property is a beautifully rehabbed home with spacious, comfortable rooms and a lovely dining area where we had a fabulous breakfast consisting of homemade breads, cheeses, jams, etc. lt was a memorable stay!

Breakfast was great with homemade and local produce . The pool and garden were fabulous, great after a hot walk. Hosts were really helpful and knowledgeable about the area and have a genuine commitment to the environment. Beds were very comfortable and room had everything we needed. Evening meals were delicious and allergies catered for without a problem. We would definitely return.

I liked everything about it, especially the delicious locally sourced food: immediately developed a taste for Spanish breakfast and the dinners were truly excellent. The hosts: Angel and Lucy, whose business and home this is, do a superb job: many of their guests keep coming back year after year, just as I would love to. The location was great: on the edge of the village looking out onto the cork-oak tree 'deheso' on the adjacent hillside - we even saw a honey-buzzard which circled close by! Went on their enjoyable and informative jamon 'tour' and olive oil tasting session, both well worth it.

Our host, Angel, could not have been more helpful or lovely. He began by coming to rescue us from some remote village due to a bus ticket problem (with no questions asked!) and continued to be a wonderful host throughout our stay - even taking us and another guest to a village for our evening meal. The location is fantastic especially if you like walking and there is a huge variety of wild flowers and birds to spot. The Posada has a great pool which, if the weather had been warmer, we would definitely have enjoyed.Restaurants and bars in the village accommodate all tastes and budgets and the ones we ate at provided really good quality food at very reasonable prices.

Wonderful location in thriving village community with walking trails from the door. Lots of places to eat and bars in the village. Fantastic hosts who were passionate about eco measures and supporting the community with local produce. Very helpful with local knowledge , walks, and transfers. Great breakfast good coffee. Lovely views from the balcony ,pretty garden, large pool.
