We stayed in this house in Menorca and overall the property itself is very nice. The area is quiet, everything is close by, and in general the house is well set up. That said, there were a couple of issues inside: the fan didn’t work and the showers weren’t great. The biggest problem, however, was with the service. We had completed the online check-in without any issues and received the code for the keys both by email and through Booking. But when we arrived at 4 p.m. to check in, the code simply didn’t work. We spent an hour trying to call the contact number before someone finally answered, and only then were we told that because we are 25 years old we had to pay a deposit. This requirement was never mentioned before, neither in the booking process nor during the online check-in. Despite already having received the access code, they changed it and only gave us the new one once we paid the deposit. So while the house itself is good, we left quite disappointed with the way the service was handled.
