Great hotel for a fair price with more than lovely people. I felt at home right away. Got not one but two welcome drinks. (Note that there is no alcohol available). Prices for dinner were very low, more than fair. Breakfast was fine, I wouldn’t expect more. Room was spacious and perfectly clean. Bed comfortable. I missed nothing. Throughout my huge trip across Egypt this was the hotel where I felt taken care of the most. Parking spot is like 2-3 minutes walking away. The security guy joined me in my car to show it to me and made sure I am safe. Pretty easy and cheap to park there.

The Savoy Hotel is the perfect place to stay when El Minya. The kindness and hospitality of the staff made my 6 night stay in El Minya an amazing experience. My room was large, very clean with satellite TV, fridge and restored to its original interior design. The roof top terrace provides amazing panoramic view to watch the sunsets over the railway station and city. The hotel restaurant provides an excellent big breakfast each morning and has a great dinner menu. The hotel can assist in organising a car for visits to Amarna and Beni Hassin if needed. If you are planning to visit El Minya The Savoy Hotel is the ideal place to stay where you will experience authentic Egyptian hospitality. This hotel gets 10/10

Hotel on busy roundabout but next to train station but noise not a problem. Limited hotel parking short distance away. Room large and clean with comfy bed and good facilities. Restaurant and food good. We were a foreign couple travelling independently in a rental car and as such we're a bit of an oddity in this less visited city. The staff were very helpful and organised a taxi for us to see the local sights but the security situation in Al Minya is very different to the main destinations in Egypt and there is a police post at the entrance to the hotel and generally they will want you to take an escort when you leave the hotel. No problem as when we walked into town the chap faded away after 100 m but he came with us in the taxi It's all a bit annoying but something one has to accept if you travel independently in this part of Eygpt

One of the best hotels in the region. Luxurious hotel, very comfortable beds, clean rooms. Breakfast and meals are served in a very spacious and clean floor, the 4th, which is very atmospheric.

“A decent hotel in Middle-Egypt”

A beautiful hotel. Incredible interior design (the pictures on the website don't lie) and its rooftopbar is a real asset. Good beds, a nice bathroom and spacious rooms. Yet be aware that you have to have ear plugs. The train station is near so noise is not avoidable. (I knew this in advance and this wasn't a big issue since I have ear plugs with me anyway) There's a decent breakfast. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely book it again if I'd plan a trip through Middle-Egypt. (I will always remember the superb smell when you enter the hotel. Lovely home perfume)

From the beginning. What was a wonderful smiling people at the reception they were amazing . The room was very very clean 👌 All needed facilities were available at the room and at the bathroom.
