Closed season, I was the only person there I think. Nice place and staff. Bet it's amazing in summer! Rooms are huge.

Decent place to spend the night while travelling thorugh the desert. The swimming pool is clean and well-maintained. The room is basic but clean with, a nice terrace (with table and chairs). Easy to park in front of the hotel. Hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood.

Azraq seem to have only few visitors, but this hotel is one of the best! Has a very nice pool and could be nice, but only few people stay there, so it looks a bit said. Nevertheless, sitting at the pool in the evening is so relaxing after days in the desert!

“Aussie and Malaysian travelling”

We like the feeling of it being like an abandoned ghost town like hotel, where its glory days are behind it. The two Syrian hosts Salam and Omar were fantastic. Friendly and helpful and made us feel like close friends or family. The proximity to the Wetlands reserve and Azraq Castle, plus the secluded, quite location of the rest house made it a nice place to stay. Heaps of shaded parking also.

We weren't expecting much from this accommodation so we found it acceptable. The breakfast had a local character with tomatoes and cucumbers from their own garden. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The two staff from Syria are extremely kind and do whatever they can to be helpful and fulfil your requests. The hotel must have been in the past a very nice one, so the rooms are still quite spacious. As it is large the swimming pool, even though when we visited it was not in operation (maybe the season). The bed sheets were very clean. With a big investment could become once more a great hotel.

“A very bad experience!”

The rooms were not very clean, parts of the rooms are broken. There are doors between the rooms that you can open and simply go to other people's room and the only thing that blocked them was a piece of furniture so none of my group felt safe to leave any valuables in the room. And some nights there were a group of loud drunken men next to female students room, the staff finally moved the men to another room but they were fighting and had a loud argument. In some nights it was loud because people in some rooms were drinking and partying till late. and also because there is technically no isolation you can hear everything in the next room. Some rooms had a hot water issue, and it wasn't clearly explained to the customers how to keep the water hot. One of the staff members was extremely rude, and said some disrespectful stuff about my group behind our backs and one member of the group heard him because he also speaks Arabic. He was also asking way too many personal questions . Overall, it was a very bad experience! But unfortunately it was our only option. if you have a group that is going for work, do not go to this hotel!

There is nothing to like about this place. It clearly had former glory but is now in sad state of neglect.

“Abandoned resort”

It looks like an abandoned resort. Almost everything is broken. Dirty swimming pool, wifi reachable only at the "reception", and a very basic breakfast are the most positive elements.

the bedroom was big, clean & comfortable. clean sheets, working fridge & AC and the place has amazing potential - which isn’t currently being realised
