“It was a mess”
I guess the location is pretty good if you prefer to stay in the middle of no where. It's very close to little petra, the backdoor entrance.

Everything promised was there. It's close to little Petra and Petra itself. It's super quiet and the local beduins pass through with their herds of camels

Amazing location, really unforgettable. Place full of character, perfect for people who are not looking for the 5 stars conforts but for authentic experiences. My girls loved sleeping on the mattresses. Host very helpful, ther was a misunderstanding about the dinner (my fault, I forgot to confirm), nevertheless he managed to provide a rich and amazing dinner.

the cottage is located close in a very quite valley with great view, close to Little Petra entrance. Is totally indipendent. Perfect when the wather is nice to enjoy sunset and stars in the night

The people who gave us the key were very friendly. The remote cottage is situated among the mountains near Little Petra, excellent place to contemplate life from. The beds were comfortable and the shower was ok too.

What an amazing experience. The host waited for us to arrive, explained everything and then we enjoyed a lovely evening in the cottage. It was authentic, clean and had hot water. I would definitely come back and stay again.

“Superb stay. We enjoyed immensely.”
Petra cottage is quaint and relaxing. There is a road near, however, the olive trees and rocks surrounding it offer a picturesque ambience. We ordered dinner and breakfast and they were wonderful and made for a relaxing evening and morning. Despite water shortages the shower was hot and strong. I would establish check in time prior to booking. Josef, the host, was helpful and kind. Petra cottage was a wonderful find, a true gem in Jordan.

Amazing place with very cool atmosphere - all tiny local things, books, smell of spice. Located all alone surrounded by mountains, very quite place, we enjoyed morning hike and a sunrise. The quitness is amazing. Unfortunately there was no wood for fire, thought the fireplace was just in front of the house. The host was very friendly and caring, he waited for our arrival till late, and he accepted USD as we didn't change the money. It was also great to find coffee and tea in the kitchen that we enjoyed in the morning.

“Remote cottage under amazing night sky”
Great location, close to Wadi Musa and Petra. It is a nice traditional Beduin house surrounded by hills. It feels very remote especially under the sky dotted with thousands of stars! Shower had hot water, mattresses were very comfortable and there was gas heater, so we stayed warm all night. Very pleasant stay.
