“Great spot for Jebel Akhdar”

Clean, quiet and comfortable, well situated for touring around Jebel Akhdar. Lovely outside space and outdoor kitchen area, perfect for managing during Ramadan. Very responsive host, allowed early check in which was great. 1 minute drive to sevwral good local restaurants and shops.

A really great stay! I know some other reviews mentioned bugs, but I had none at all. It was really charming, a lovely peaceful courtyard with a simple outdoor kitchen. Rooms were well sized and well decorated. It had our strongest WiFi in Oman and it was a really peaceful stay.

The bed was very comfortable, spacious room, in the mean time there is good Wi-Fi.

“Beautiful house at Jabal Akhdar”

The house is conveniently located and there are shops nearby for u to get groceries, not far from several nice view point at Jabal Akhdar. The caretaker stays next door. Even though he didn't speak English but he tried his best to communicate and gave us his contact number if there is any problem.

The apartment was simple, just as expected from the photos. It was very spacious, with a very large rooftop terrace.

I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional experience I had during my recent stay at the Rose Guesthouse. The chalet was beautifully appointed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The attention to detail in the décor and the well-thought-out amenities made me feel right at home. The breathtaking views and serene surroundings provided a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness and upkeep of the chalet. It was evident that the team takes great pride in maintaining high standards. The facilities were fantastic. Thank you for creating such a wonderful experience. I look forward to returning to the Rose Guesthouse in the future and i have already recommend it to friends and family.

Let's start with the fact that the owner waited until the end of the free cancellation period, although the accommodation was booked long ago, and then he told us that only 4x4 cars were allowed into this location, laughed mockingly at our questions on WhatsApp and offered transfers for 50 reals one way, although they found a police station near the police post drivers without problems for 20 reals. The apartments themselves correspond to the photographs, but besides you there will be cockroaches living there, they will be everywhere, water was running from the refrigerator, no towels, no soap, no shampoo, no dishes, the owner didn’t even put a bag of coffee or tea in the kitchen, as I understand it the owner thinks that guests should take all this with them?! The apartment is terribly damp and cold, the air conditioner is humming, but it doesn’t add comfort; when you wake up, you will feel all the “joy” of getting out of a damp bed and putting on damp clothes! I highly do not recommend these apartments and the “hospitable” owner of these apartments!

Very spacious, good value, privacy, nice backyard with eating space, location near good hikes, internet, good communication with landlord, responsive.
