Best view from the rooftop terrace! Friendly people working there. Highly recommend this stay!

The environment here is very nice and quiet, with beautiful scenery. Away from the main road, there's little noise. The staff are also very friendly, inviting us to lunch, even though we'd already eaten. Looking forward to seeing you again!

Abdul is lovely host and will do anything to make your stay more comfortable and organise trip and tours at a reasonable price. The property is gorgeous and has gorgeous view of the balloons and valley of kings. Very peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of the town.

“Poor”

I arrived and my room was occupied. They put me up temporarily. There was no electricity. Late in the afternoon they told me my room was ready. I went up and it was occupied by a couple. They left the same sheets on the bed. The terrace area was extremely dirty. Uber service doesn't operate in the area.

I had a very peaceful stay with incredible views from the roof terrace and easy access to the sites. The family were welcoming and helpful and the home cooked breakfast and generous evening meal were both local and delicious. The place was clean, the beds comfortable and the WiFi was good. We had a really lovely stay at this guesthouse and would gladly recommend it to anyone coming to Luxor who’s looking for something quiet and genuine. The hosts are kind, open, and sincere, and there’s an easy warmth to the place that makes you feel welcome right away. The rooftop was a real highlight, with beautiful views of the Theban Hills and the surrounding countryside. The guesthouse sits right at the edge of the village, where the houses fade into green fields, and being surrounded by farmland gives it a calm, rural feel that’s deeply relaxing. The location is excellent. It’s an easy walk to the Colossi of Memnon, and the walk toward the Valley of the Kings takes you through sugarcane fields, which is an experience in itself. You’re close to all the main West Bank sites, yet the area stays peaceful and free from traffic and crowds. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed, including reliable hot water, and nothing felt lacking. Breakfast was excellent and clearly made with care, with a generous and varied spread each morning. Having it included in the room price was a real bonus. Overall, this guesthouse offers the best of both worlds: close to the sights you come to Luxor for, but peaceful, rural, and full of local character. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

The location is perfect for visiting the kings valley and other attractions. The drivers are courteous and very friendly. It was wonderful to be here, thank you for everything! We hope to return.

We had a wonderful stay at the Quiet Gate Guesthouse. The rooftop terrace is absolutely fantastic! Having breakfast up there while watching the hot-air balloons come down in the morning is such a beautiful way to start the day. You even get a lovely view of the Temple of Hatshepsut. The location is perfect: very close to the Valley of the Kings, making it easy to get there, and there are several places to eat just around the corner. The staff were incredibly kind and caring. They really look after their guests, always available when you need something, yet never intrusive. Breakfast was also delicious.

Dare to pass the gate, you will experience a blink of the deep and real egyptian inner culture and traditional cuisine. A peaceful place to relax from the hectic, spinning and harassing Luxor. A touch of eternity on the rooftop with an impregnable and breathtaking view on « The King’s Valley ». Of course, it’s not a 5* hotel, but it’s by far a much more insightful and meaningful human experience that what most of the luxury mass touristic industry has to offer.

Fantastic view and location looking over the fields and desert. Very quiet and was great to have a pool. The hosts were very helpful in arranging many tours for us and treated us like guests in their home

Mahmoud and brother were amazing and very very hospitable. We enjoyed a delicious dinner with an array of food and a very good breakfast in the morning. Mahmoud was very kind and went above and beyond for us. The views are absolutely stunning and I suggest waking up early in the morning to view the hot air balloons over the valley of the kings. Mahmoud kindly let us check out late as we had a flight to catch, I would highly recommend staying here. Room and facilities very neat and tidy. Pool was amazing to enjoy on a hot day. 100/100.

this place is located in a quiet place, close to history area with a large of green fields.. You also have your privacy, your own pool to sit in the sun , the manager is very helpful, so i got home safe, . I strongly recommend this place price / quality is good

Guest house located in a very quiet and majestic area beautiful view from the roof terrace very close to the temples every morning you can watch the balloons flying right next to it. Very nice owners I recommend eating dinner made by the owner's wife very tasty. The man who takes care of the guests is called Machmud and he is a person who can organize literally everything I recommend the balloon flight was amazing, very good value for money. Greetings to the owners and Machmud I will definitely go back there someday🙏
