Featuring an infinity pool, The View is located at Al Hamra. The property is perched on a high rock slab that overlooks the surrounding mountains and valleys. Free WiFi in public areas is available. Don't expect the room will look like it's shown in the pictures. We were given a room with no view at all. Only bamboo fence and another building roof in front of our balcony. Even a garden view room had much better scenery. I'll attach some pictures. As we expected to get what was listed we complained and the staff changed the room but said we paid for another room category (which doesn't seem fair as pictures show the room with a much nicer view). The new room was completely the same but with a view of the mountains. Important to mention the staff was very professional and complaisant. The food was good.

“The View is spectacular”
This is that rare gem of a hotel which is so special it makes your holiday truly memorable. It’s the best place we stayed in Oman. It’s spectacular, a 180 degree view in front of you of the valley and mountains. Food was great and the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming

“It could be so nice...”
The location of the complex and the view, especially from the restaurant and the pool, are very beautiful. Please note that the hotel can only be reached by 4WD. The waiters in the restaurant are very friendly and the food (Indian style) was very tasty.

“Absolute must!”
A must for anyone visiting Oman! Our room offered absolutely stunning views, and the delicious food for both dinner and breakfast was a highlight. The beautiful swimming pool, coupled with the welcoming and helpful staff, made our stay truly enjoyable.

I was not really bothered by the road! It is a mountain, so rough road is expected! The rooms would need some TLC, but that also did not bother me. Diffintly would come back again.

The road needs to be more comfortable
