They provided the kitchen tool such as microwave, pot, plate and cutlery. I can use hot water in taking shower.

Accommodation is very good if you want to do the balcony walk early in the morning. Owners booked us a table in a nearby resort for dinner. We came to the hotel with very low fuel left. The owners were very friendly and looked for a solution immediately. The next morning, they brought us some fuel, all the way from Al Hamra. They were very kind and helped us very good.

Beautiful place, the room was big and comfortable. Bathroom ok. There's a heater in the room. Fridge in the room. Staff kind and helpful through WhatsApp. You can reach the place with a normal car. Bring some food to cook in the kitchen. There's a market few meters away from the hotel to buy some food. 10min away from the balcony walk.

Functional kitchen. Short walk to the store (didn’t buy so can’t comment on snugging else). Host very attentive and excellent communication for arrival.

“GREAT place for a SHORT stay in the mountains”

The staff was very nice, we exchanged whatsapp and he always replied and was helpful. The room was very big and VERY clean and a great location if you're going to the mountains (dont need a 4x4 to get here)

Great location for doing Jabal Shams balcony walk home. The host/owner was very nice and let me keep my things in the room until next day so that I could come after the hike and have a shower (which I did around 2-3 pm).

“Know what you pay for and you'll enjoy it”

- The owner was friendly and accommodating (we thought we'd be able to pay by card, but the owner doesn't have a card payment terminal, and we didn't have enough cash, but the owner was very relaxed about it and just offered to meet us near the ATM in Al Hamra the next day). - Being at the top of the accessible part of Jebel Shams, the location is really good to go catch sunset and head to the Balcony Trail. - There is plenty of space to park your car inside the gated premises and the place feels very safe. - There is a kitchen which we didn't use, but it can be useful considering the lack of dining out options in the area (only a coffee shop with limited and not-so-tasty options, and an overpriced resort). We didn't stay anywhere else in Jebel Shams, so it's hard to say whether this place is better or worse than the few others up there in this price range. If you manage your own expectations based on our two dislikes, you'll probably enjoy this guesthouse.

“Warm and comfy stay at top of the mountain”

We got a spacious, clean room with all amenities. The host was warm, welcoming and helped us with access to the kitchen. We got enough blankets, hot water in the taps to keep us warm. It was great to stay at the top of Jebel Shams in the comfort of a home.

The host ensured we got a clean room away from the a party group playing loud music. He also guided us regarding the dinner situation at Jabel Shams and booked our dinner at the Sama resort for 7 omr each.

The owner is very nice and super friendly. The location good, there are near very nice sunset points and also near to do the balcony hike. It is clean as well.

It's a comfortable place to stay if you do not get booking in another two resorts at Jebel shams. Humid was very helpful and cheerful host. The facilities are neat and clean. It is a good place to stay for a group of 2-3 families who can have barbecue and other joint gathering. It is just about ok for an overnight stay. The kitchen and dining room facilities, which are common for all rooms are pretty good.

Would recommend! Amazing location close to the Balcony Walk, you do not need a 4WD to reach it. Basic accommodation but everything you need with a comfortable bed! Friendly host and good communication. He arranged dinner for us at Sama Heights which was a fun extra to explore this resort.
