Really nice new place up top Jabal shams. Peaceful and quiet, the house has the basic things you need and it’s near the balcony walk.

Perfect location, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Really close to sunrise viewpoint and only a 5 minute drive to the start of the balcony hike. Definitely recommend this as a great place to experience Jabal Shams.

We really enjoyed our stay: the traditional architecture of the house is stunning, and the rooms and facilities were extremely clean and comfortable. Lack of wifi was not perceived as a minus, but as a plus: it's a great choice to make visitors focus on the surrounding beauties and live a more authentic experience (eg by stargazing and gathering on the private fireplace). The staff has been very friendly and helpful. Finally, the location is very convenient as it's close to many of the most important trails and viewpoints of the area.

Beautiful place to stay in Jabal Shams. Very helpful staff, productive communication. Spacious home, nice kitchen and cozy place to have firewood. You can come here even with 2wd. The drive is not challenging.

The location is perfect and very close drive to the rim walk. We enjoyed having campfires in the evening. The sunsets are spectacular. Ahmed was very warm and friendly...a terrific host.

We had a great stay at Canyon Rest House Jabal Shams with our family and friends. The fireplace and BBQ area were nice, and the kitchen had everything we needed, including a refrigerator and microwave. The three bedrooms and living room were comfortable. Some people at other villas were not friendly, but the owner of this place was very nice. I recommend staying here.

Perfect charming local house to have for yourself. 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, separate kitchen. Nice outdoor patio. If you want you can make a fire in the evening. Possibility to order breakfast and dinner, which will be brought to the house. Perfect location for sunset and sunrise viewpoints and to start the balcony walk. The surroundings are stunning. We could stay a bit longer, so we could pick up our luggage after the walk, which was perfect! The money you pay for this booking is for the whole community, a part goes to the people who have the house, a part to the people who are connected / work for the house and a part for local charity.
