Most hospitable hosts - great guys. Traditional styled rooms. Excellent view over the balcony. The best location, right next to public parking - if you can get a spot in high season. Probably the best value stay if you want to stay the night in Misfah.

Amazing place to stay with superb views of the valley. Great breakfast and friendly host who will make you feel at home. Perfect place to start a bit of hiking from.

Room was clean, beds comfy. Nice view from the terrace where we had breakfast. Tea, coffee available all the time. Not far, 2 mins walk to the car park.

Al Misfah is a lovely little village with interesting walks and close to Al Hamra and other attractions. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Communication was excellent. Tasty food, and plenty of it! We took a tour of the farm which was very interesting.

Great accomodation to spend one or two days to visit the surroundings. Ahmed is polite and friendly, he gave us a welcome snack and suggested some lively spots to watch the sunset! Dinner and breakfast are amazing, you can enjoy them on the building terrace with a magnificent view!

Nice location at the entry of the village. Nice view from the dinning room. Great dinner prepare by the wife of the owner. The dinner and breakfast are home made. I've booked the visit of the Farm tour with Ahmed. 2h to discover fruits growing on his farms.

Mohammed was excellent, also loved the honey shop!

We had a wonderful stay at Ahmed’s guest house. Ahmed is an exceptional host — welcoming, generous, and passionate about sharing the beauty of his village and his country. Despite it being the low season, he greeted us warmly and made us feel truly at home. He took the time to share fascinating stories about the history of the area, his traditional Omani house (over 200 years old!), and his beautiful farm and fruit fields. He also gave us plenty of helpful tips and recommendations about things to see and do in the region and across Oman. If you’re looking for a genuine experience in a charming and peaceful setting, we strongly recommend staying at Ahmed’s guest house. It was a highlight of our trip

We loved the view and the proximity to the parking area. It was also above the honey shop which was an extra bonus.

We loved the stay at Achmad‘s stay! It’s a beautiful traditional house with a scenic terrace, where very good breakfast and dinner is served. The owner is very helpful, and makes one feel welcome and appreciated.

“Nice cozy spot”

It is in a great location in the small village. We only booked one night here, but honestly, probably would have booked two if we knew how many hikes were close by. The beds were comfortable, and the evening meal was very nice. Close enough to Jabal Shams (although dont believe the online blogs, it is busy hiking in there, also we took a 2WD to get there).

“Not bad, but not worth the money”

Good location, although this town itself is disappointing. Already most of the historic charm is gone and it feels like a tourist trap. The room was basically clean and comfortable. Wifi worked well in the spots that it reached, but much of my room was not well covered by it.
