This is a nice place for a family with 2 children, but not for a 2 couples. The kitchen had all needed appliances.

“A possible stop on your trip around Iceland”
Due to KLM flight change we arrived one day later in Reykjavik (7PM) and we drove more than 6 hours to Vaglaskogur. We announced we will arrive late and host was very kind and waited for us to give the keys. The house looks like in the pictures and is in a remote location. It is very quiet because is far from any neighbour or facilities. Akureyri (the closest small city) is around 15km away if you use the shortage via tunnel, but do not forget to pay the tunnel (online payment only). I don't remember if the jacuzzi was mentioned in the offer and this is why I don't put it into the negative aspects the fact it was empty.

Beautiful accomodation in the middle of the forest. It is beautiful, clean and huge. There is a coffee machine, BBQ and a huge terrace. The accomodation is located in a remote area and it is possible to see the northern lights.

“A cosy and beautiful cabin”
This is a lovely and cozy wooden cabin. It is placed very close to the ring road literally in the woods. It was so peaceful and quiet- the perfect place to relax. The cabin is very comfortable with everything you need. The beds were great. I wish we could stay longer.

the beds were really comfy and the lodge is pretty cozy. Also the terrace which we couldnt use due to bad weather.
