“Comfortable stay in Akureyri with spectacular views”
Great views, especially from dining hall. Nice breakfast spread. Clean rooms and nice showers. The staff generously offered us a bigger room upstairs because the small room we booked is really small, but because the small room had direct access to the carpark and my father has limited mobility, we had to turn the offer down.

The rooms are comfortable, perfect for Aurora spotting as it’s away from the lights of the city. We were unlucky and had a large snow storm but that’s life! The breakfast was decent, and the check in procedure and email communication was good.

“Pleasant stay”
We’ve had a great time here, everything was as expected and even though some things are dated, it didn’t bother us. Location wise, the hotel is really close to Forest Lagoon which was our main reason we booked it.

“Fantastic place to stay across the river.”
This place was fantastic. We really loved our room, it was so comfortable. We stayed on the second floor the first night with the view of Akureyri. They provided house coats and slippers, It was amazing. They have a beautiful property with hot tubs and amazing views. The breakfast was really great and a beautiful room for it. We would definitely stay here again.

“Great Relaxing Hotel”
The room was exactly as described and the location was perfect. The breakfast was great and we really loved the hotel. It was so beautiful and relaxing. The robes and slippers were great for the hot tub. Thank you. We had a fantastic time.

“Nice stay!”
Nice hotel located in a quiet area, with parking right at the door. The room had some charm and all the necessary amenities. There is an outdoor jacuzzi, although we didn’t end up using it. The price is not too high (and includes breakfast), which considering the standards in Iceland makes it a very good option.
