Really stylish, modern, comfortable, welcoming. Large TV with Netflix was great for relaxing Free tea and coffee, mini-safe for valuables Modern Shower perfect for re-energising yourself! Great location for bars, restaurants and shops nearby.

Got a room on the ground floor which is essentially street level, the room is rather crammed. The decor is not great, everything painted black. There is no reception to ask questions.

Location Fantastic, Breakfast Fantastic, Check in was confusing. This hotel uses a reception next door, confusingly though it had a sign pointing to reception which ended up at a fire door. Full instruction had been sent through booking.com, however I'd not read them. You seem to get multiple emails at the point of booking i'd missed this one.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything had been thought of by the owners, making it a very comfortable stay in the colder months. Breakfast was delicious and the service very efficient. Thank you!

Beautiful hotel. Easy check in. Great location & easy parking. Wish we could’ve tried the restaurant & breakfast out but it was bank holiday. Not clear if the fridge drinks were included or not? Need to fix the fan & mood lighting as it was flickering.

The room, lack of variety in the menu, lack of staff. Partly our fault to have booked a small room and not looked VERY carefully at the photos on Booking.com. Disappointed after seeing the 'main' photo of the hotel on the website. Perhaps other rooms are better and maybe all will be better when reconstruction is finished.

Our stay was amazing! The room was so clean and even though we booked a small double, it was as perfect size. The value was superb! Parking is also just outside the hotel free of charge and plenty of spaces. Lovely stay and I will be recommending to friends!

Fabulously decorated room in a very comfortable room with super soft pillows (my favourite). Very attentive hosts and a very easy electronic check in.

Location perfect, just a short walk into town to grab an evening meal and breakfast in the morning. The hotel and room were spotless and the facilities were great, especially the bathroom. The hotel was quirky and had a romantic feel.

We are a family of 4, booked a 2 nights stay in Akureyri. Upon arrival, we went to the wrong building (we used google map) and after a short while, the lady (one of the owner or the manager, i believe) came to escort us. She went out of here way to help me carry baggages for my aunt and my mother-in-law (in their early 70s). She even changed our rooms to the ground floor as it’s more convenient for my family. The whole experience was almost perfect, their are some minor issues but are negligible. The location is literally 2 min walk to downtown, close to everything but quiet enough for a pleasant stay. Highly recommend 9/10.
