Great location, with fantastic views over Akureyri and when the northern lights come out it’s amazing. Everything you need to enjoy your stay is provided all you need to do is buy food and drink.

“Wish we could have stayed longer!”
A beautiful cabin up a hill with a lovely view of Akureyre. The place is peaceful and “zen”. One can hear the birds singing and enjoy the reflections of the midnight Sun from above. The cabin is just as in the photos. A wooden cabin with a beautiful large terrace, a kitchen, a living room, two bedrooms downstairs and one big one in the attic above (up a ladder). It is very well equipped and has everything you would ever need - from a barbecue to wine glasses! Our only problem was that we loved the place so much that we had trouble leaving to go sightseeing! We wished we had more days there to just relax and “chill out”.

We were really looking forward for the stay as it said they have the hottub facility. But few days before our arrival, the host informed us that the hottub is not working. So that was really sad and it lowered our happiness.

“Beautiful location, lovely property with everything you need, responsive owners.”
The views overlooking the Fjord is what wins this property. Stunning to wake up in the morning to that view!! The cabin is very spacious and far enough away from other cabins to offer decent privacy. Fully equips kitchen and some essentials on hand (washing up liquid, shower gel, bin bags etc).

Very beautiful location with a stunning view on Akureyri. Perfect equipped kitchen. Terrace with hot tube and view of the sorroundings. We made trips to Husavík and Mývant area, the way take about 1 hour. We enjoy very much.
