“Amazing Stay!”

An exceptionally cozy and welcoming guesthouse. Despite our late arrival at 11 PM, the hosts kindly waited for us, made sure we had everything we needed, and were genuinely caring throughout our stay. The breakfast was outstanding, with high-quality products, and the homemade cinnamon roll for our journey was such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommended!

The location was nice. Just next to ring road from Akureyri. Also the lodge had a old rustic feeling

They prepared our breakfast to take away even if out of service hours!

Everything is clean, there is enough space and the breakfast is very good. Expensive, but everything is on Iceland :)

“Slightly miffed about dinner but pleasant enough place”

We were touring round so didn't choose the lodge for its location as such though we did have good views of the mountains. There is a hot tub which we were encouraged enthusiastically to use :-) and good sized showers. We had pre-booked breakfast but needed to go out early the next day and the reception girl was very accommodating and immediately offered to leave a lunch for us in the fridge instead - and at 7am it was there :-) Breakfast was fine; the usual buffet style and the hotel serves evening meals which not all places in Iceland do.

Good food, very friendly personnel

The rustic-style lodge is situated in a spectacular location. The staff is impeccable, super friendly, and helpful. Since we had to leave early, they prepared lunch boxes for us. I really recommend this.
