Located in Akureyri and only 35 km from Godafoss Waterfall, Akureyri apartments provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. “Wonderful spot in a nice neighborhood. Just don’t be tall”
Good spot in town, 15 minutes walk to get to the town center, while training your legs, because it’s steep downhill. If you want to go for a hike or run, you’re close to nice trails. The ski resort is 6 km up hill.

Walkable distance to and from town but be prepared for a long walk uphill and icy pavements - the flat itself had a smell of drains (not just the usual Icelandic sulphur smell) but was relatively well equipped with comfortable beds and it was nice to have throws for the sofa - having a washing machine was a bonus if travelling with small children. Our favorite part was next doors cat coming to visit when you leave the bathroom window open. He was lovely.

“Efficient and well-equipped apartment in Northern Iceland”
The apartment was clean and had all that was needed, including a washer and drying rack. The kitchen was well equipped, and the fridge was huge. The city has lots of shopping and serves as a gateway to northern Iceland.

“Nice house, problem solving host”
We really appreciated the location, the apartment, the quiet surroundings. What we also appreciated (and the main reason for not giving a lower score) was the ability and willingness of the host to resolve the problems. When we arrived it was late and Sunday and the apartment was not cleaned from the previous guests. Although it is the last thing you want when you arrive late, tired and hungry we really appreciated that the host quickly send someone who cleaned the apartment and we could enjoy everything.

The outside of the house is beautiful and it is located on a short walking distance to the centre of Akureyri. The appartement is situated in a quiet neighbourhood. The property manager is friendly and was quick to solve a problem with the shower. The beds and couch are comfortable and the TV setup is nice.
