“Friendly, clean, comfortable, great place to stay!”

Super friendly owners. Very easy for arrival. Very clean and comfortable room. Great cafe just opposite with lovely food.

We enjoyed it for 7 nights and it is one of the best hostels in Kyushu. The hosts know what they are doing and what travellers expect and need. Extremely well organised and spick and span. Super comfy beds and quiet as a mouse!

Everything was so neatly organized. The rooms are built in style and equipped very carfully. Especially the bunk bedroom is very cozy. And of course, everything was spotlessly clean.

Really cute, comfortable and practical guest house, super nice owners. Also we felt Akune was a special place, creative, super relaxed and slow in a good way. Dont miss going to the local onsen. I wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you!

It's extremely clean and the room is so comfy. The owners are very friendly. They lent me their bike which I think is the best way to explore Akune. The pasta from their café is amazing 😋

One of the best hostels that I have ever stayed in. My hostess took me to the doctor when I was unwell, then accompanied me to the pharmacy too, to fill out all the paperwork for me. Just brilliant!

Everything! Fabulous staff ! Speak a bit of English so if you don’t speak Japanese at all is a very good point ! They give a bike for your stay ! The room was perfect, quiet… I love this place and those people :) Thanks for all !

It's clean and new, no matter in rooms, toilet, bathroom or dining room. The host are a friendly couple with good English. There's a nice coffee shop, but we didn't spend time there, because the dinning room is so complete and comfort for us to make some food by ourselves, and enjoy coffee with friends. It's a perfect experience, I'd like to stay more nights there next time.

“Clean and comfortable for overnight cycle stay”

The facilities were excellent, the room was spacious, they had a garage for me to put my bike in overnight, it was located close to convenience stores and the station and the owner was friendly and helpful. Everything you want in an overnight stay.

It was a lovely place with good amenities.

The owners are very nice people and they live just across the road. They also have a nice cafe there. When I arrived, during check in, their children were there doing their homework in the cafe. Thus, it made me feel at home, and being glad that what I paid would be going to directly support a family, and not shareholders of a large hotel chain. The hostel is very clean, and I could have the privacy I needed with their setup of private rooms, yet benefiting from the hostel atmosphere experience. Very comfortable single bed, better than some hotels I stayed here in Japan. Laundry was free and they provided detergent. They recommended a very good izakaya in the vicinity. Finally, their garage provided a safe place to store my bicycle.

Spotless clean, functional, colorful and inviting.Close.to the station. But the owners and their little cafe are definitely the best part(: thanks for the good.time, Juno-san! (: can't wait to be back

A very well thought out hostel. Lots of attention to detail. My room was spacious and the bed comfortable. A great shower and nice kitchen area. The owners are a lovely couple who also run a restaurant beside the hostel. The area has lots to explore with some lovely beaches and pretty countryside.
