“Gorgeous stay with amazing hosts”

Dan and David were amazing hosts, they were really welcoming when we arrived showing us around and making us feel at home. We stayed with my mum and dad and had our first breakfast cooked by the hosts which was delicious and they went out of their way to not only arrange, but bake a homemade cake for my mum's birthday which made the stay really special. The rooms are beautiful, kitchen well equipped and we loved getting free access to the Yalku lagoon nearby. It was such a better experience than staying in a hotel and the sunsets from the rooftop were amazing.

The whole experience of staying at Casa Gatos was fantastic. David and Dan are two of the loveliest people you could wish to meet and their property matched them to a tee. The location is excellent, the apartment really well equipped and beautifully decorated. We had a fabulous homecooked and prepared breakfast on our first morning which was also a great opportunity to chat with the boys about the local area and places to visit. It is extremely safe and everyone is so friendly. Loved every second of our visit and their little dog Bambi is adorable.

The hosts, Dan and Dave, were outstanding. Helpful, friendly, and outgoing. They were essential to assisting us handle a crucial medical challenge.

“Best part of our stay in Mexico.”

The owners are just amazing. They make you feel at home. The first morning, they prepared us a welcome breakfast, gave us plenty of advice about where to go and what to visit, provided us with guides and maps, and even lent us some beach towels for the 5 of us. The place is peaceful and comfortable, with access to a roof terrace, and anything needed in a house. David and Dan were so kind to let us check-out later to enjoy an additional half day at the beach. Thank you, we will come back and we will advice your place to friends. :-)

The breakfast was great, David and Dan are wonderful hosts, good location, huge space, very well kept. Snorkeling at the lagoon next door was also great.

David and Dan were very helpful and friendly. They have lived in Akumal for over 20 years so have extensive local knowledge. The apartment is extremely comfortable exceeding our expectations. We loved birdwatching and lounging on the rooftop and sitting in their beautiful garden. The fabulous lagoon, Yalku, is a few minutes walk and Akumal beach nearby. We stayed for 17 relaxing days. Wonderful.

Although we booked without breakfast, our hosts Dan and David prepared a lovely breakfast the first day with many local specialties. Many many thanks for thank. We really enjoyed it.

“Staying at Casa Gatos feels like coming home”

We had a great time at Casa Gatos. We loved the garden, the roofterrace and the furnishings. We slept very well in the king size bed. The owners Dan and David are so kind and communicative! We felt like friends from the first moment ongoing throughout the time we spent there. Although we didn't book a breakfast we got a free welcome breakfast with delicious fruits. Would definitely come back and can recommend a stay to anyone, looking for some nice and quiet time in superb location.
