The landlord is a very gentle and kind aunt. I arrived in Aktau by plane at night. She was afraid that I would not find her and had been waiting for me downstairs in the community. It was very cold that day. When I couldn't find the way, she suddenly appeared in front of me and held my hand, which touched me very much! Her house is also very clean. This is the first time I have lived in such a homestay. It is as comfortable as in my own home. You can see the sea opposite the room. Although there is a road below, it is very quiet. I recommend everyone to book this homestay!

I almost never give reviews, but this one is asking for it. By far the worst overall experience I have had in Kazakhstan so far. Apartment is nice, nice location and has everything you need. However, the neighbors (above) were very loud, somehow they found a way to be loud through out the whole night. I repeatedly heard steps and noise at 1am, 3am, 5am. After the first night I went to talk to them. If something, it got worse. Message I got from my host: “I’m very sorry about this situation. Kazakhstan is not Europe. I wouldn't want you to feel uncomfortable. Perhaps you should find a more suitable option?” Correct, Kazakhstan is not Europe, but I think that people should respect each other in the whole world. My host talked to them, but it hasn’t improved much. She said no one complained before me which I find very hard to beieve. I have travelled for over 3+ years, I have seen a lot, I almsot never complain or write reviews, but this whole situation just got me. To be fair, the host was very helpful, I asked aobut what to do in the city…she was super helpful with it, but some messages and actions felt unnecessary and almsot slightly offensive. The overall communication was too extensive I don’t come to apartments to text with my host. I prefer spending that time exploring the area. Yes, I am aware that this is a first-world problem and I am grateful for my circumstances. However, I felt the need to address this situation. I paid my money for this and it left an impression on me. Aktau and Mangystau are stunning, but this experience left me drained and annoyed.

I was satisfied with everything, at my request the hostess ordered a taxi from the airport to the place of residence. which saved me a lot of time. I was delivered to the apartment and warmly greeted by the hostess. I was given the keys and shown the house. Everything necessary was in the apartment and I practically did not have to leave. only if I walked around the city. The hostess speaks excellent Russian and English, maybe some other language? A taxi was ordered back to the airport, which again saved a lot of time

Angela is extremely friendly and helpful. She speaks very good English and had good conversations with her. She kindly picked us up from the nearest bus stop. Angela gave us great tips about what to see in Aktau. We had a partial seaview from the dining area. At the end of our stay, she arranged for a taxi at 5am since we had an early flight. Highly recommend her place.
