It was very clean and the people are very nice. It is a very nice location by the ocean and just a short walking distance from the light house in Akranes.

Traditional excellent guesthouse with friendly hosts who met us on arrival . They explained what there was to do locally and where to go. Everything was great.

It basically feels like living in a local Icelandic house rather than "guesthouse". Super lovely couple running the place makes the stay extra pleasant! Sulfur smelling hot water is probably not a desired thing for locals, but made us feel like in a thermal facility :) Laundry room was very convenient.

Well-kept apartment, very clean. The hosts were super nice and explained to us what to visit in the surrounding area. The bathroom and kitchen are shared between two rooms, so not too crowded. The last but also one the best experiences in a Guesthouse in Iceland!

“Lovely guesthouse, clean and comfy, would stay again”
A lovely guesthouse, spacious, clean and comfy room. Hosts were very welcoming, check-in/out was easy. Kitchen, bathroom and lounge shared between the two rooms, all was clean and comfortable. Location was good, easy to find and close to things to see in Akranes.

“Great last night in Iceland”
The owners were very friendly giving us good advice about where to go for dinner and what was available to do. It was our last night in Iceland and we climbed the mountain to watch amazing sunset. We were also able to do our washing and use the dryer
