A comfortable and rustic oasis in a very scenic spot of the Debed Canyon, this cozy guesthouse is the perfect gateway to the hiking in the area. It’s also a great place to unwind and get away from the city. The host, Aren, went above and beyond to ensure I had transport, information and generous homecooked meals. His hospitality made me feel at home

Lovely property, lovely owner, great food. I had initially planned on camping at 3 poplars but decided to stay in one of the cute cabins instead. Super clean and comfy with extra blankets provided without having to ask for them after it got a bit chilly after sunset. Had the best sleep and woke up to birdsong in the morning. I really hope to return one day and spend some more time. The owner was so kind to pick me up in town upon arrival and dropped me off the next day so I could start onto my hiking trail. Highly recommend staying here if you are in the area!

really beautiful location, clean facilities and really friendly staff! it’s about 30min walk from the road but it’s well sign posted so easy to find, really peaceful and a perfect break from the city, we choose to extend which lots of people do ! The food is really delicious, (proper Armenian home-cooking) and great value for money

Camping is located in a picturesque place in the middle of the mountains, in the wild. This is a mountainous forest area where you can retire with nature. There is no city noise, neighboring houses. There is a mountain river to which the path leads. Camping is located on the territory of a large guest house, so we can safely say that there are all amenities. There is a seasonal, panoramic large pool. There is a Siberian jacuzzi that works on a fire and is installed under the starry sky, which makes it possible to enjoy the night look. There are only a couple of kilometers to the city. Two kilometers should be drove along a dirt road, but this is not scary, since it is possible to do it on an ordinary sedan, motorcycle or even a bicycle. Very tasty food. Inexpensive breakfasts, lunch, supper and dinner. They can offer you everything you want by an individual order. The food is really tasty! At this time of the year, you will be offered a closed dining area. There are many beautiful corners where you can drink coffee or have breakfast. Breakfast can also be applied to the room. You can order food with you. I liked that they have a lot of tariffs for any budget. If you choose the entire inclusive tariff, then you will be offered a packaged lunch or dinner or breakfast with you, if you decide to go for walks or go on an excursion. Money will not be lost if you have a tariff, but you are on the tour during lunch. This is convenient and very good. There are excursions by order. The cost depends on several factors, but I think the cost is more than acceptable. I also liked that you can order a paid individual Internet for a laptop. There is a wireless Internet. Many suggestions. Local free transfer. Transfer from/to the airport inexpensive. There is an private transfer and shared transfer. There is a service of free food from a supermarket if you stopped for more than a week.

I have been to so many hostels and guest houses in my life, but it happened very few times that I felt like I was in fact being hosted by a friend. This was one of those few cases. Arman, the owner, welcomed me wholeheartedly. Silva #1 and Silva #2 (the two ladies that take care of the guest house) treated me as if I was their nephew. Their food is delicious (yet the portions are huge) and the apples from the garden are so sweet and juicy. I ate tons of those apples.

The place is perfect to chill, far enough from the city but still reachable by walk. The mountain view is amazing and the vibe of Aren (the manager) and Sylvia (super chef) is so good that I extended my stay twice! Good also to detox from internet

This place is special, the host and his family will make you feel like home, good food and pool and great prices, really nice people walk that long to be in a specific place so I think this is a special place

The owner Aren is the nicest person I've met in Armenia, so helpful and kind. His family was also great and cooked us delicious foods. He has got lovely daughters helping with everything and very smart. Aren can arrange everything you need for your travel. We forgot something at his place and he arranged it to be sent to Tiflis by bus driver, so amazing. The place to stay is nice and in the middle of his garden, mountains around, river nearby, so it is a great spot to start your tracks around and explore the monasteries hidden in the mountains. Without doubt, Aren's place, thanks to his hospitality, was the best experience we had in Armenia.
