After checking in, he wasn't available to answer any text messages or calls. He was very responsive and guided me during my journey for directions. No wifi

Clean and comfortable room, nice clean bathroom, shared kitchen downstream. Great location in the Old City, landlord on the place, no problem whatsoever.

The Host was on time meeting with us for the keys. Very uncomplicated and easy going.

Alles Bestens, gerne wieder, vielen Dank. Nice and clean apartment, bed, shower and wifi is good. Parking little bit difficult, baggage drop off in frot of the door is possible... parking about 400m away in front of the city wall for free. All major tourist spots in walking distance 10-15 min.

“Terrible and dangerous experience at the Grape House. Avoid”

I had an extremely bad and distressing stay at the Grape House. Avoid at all costs. We had booked for a night with my family (we booked two rooms in total). Around 10.00pm the electric boiler system exploded in the bathroom while I was having a shower. This led to a pipe bursting and flooding the room in which I was staying, along with my kids who were sleeping at that time. Very quickly the room was full of water. We had to move all our belongings to my parents' room that was adjacent to ours and wake up the kids. We immediately called the property owner who had given us the keys earlier that day but he didn't answer our calls. After trying multiple times to reach him, including at his restaurant, we went to enquire at the Efendi hotel across the street. They managed to locate him and he came to the property. This was over an hour after the flooding had started. The electricity had gone off and we were completely in the dark for that time. He put us in a nearby property that he owned for that night. By that time it was nearly midnight and we were extremely exhausted. Given the extreme inconvenience that we had endured he also offered a financial compensation, initially offering a full reimbursement. However the money was automatically transfered for the stay from our booking.com reservation. When we called him two days after when we saw the transaction in our bank account he claimed that he did not need to provide financial compensation (which he had initially offered) since he provided an alternative accommodation. However, he said that he would compensate us and asked us to transfer our bank account details for that but he never did and then never responded to our subsequent calls.

Fantastic location right in the old city of Akko. We left the car for 3 days and we could walk all over the city .A warm welcome and immediate response to all our needs. Very comfortable bed, a huge terrace, a fridge , free coffee and tea. Free WiFi . Nice air conditioner.

Good for bed & breakfast even we have not get any breakfast. Location is very good.
