It's about the hot spring pool on the 11th floor, which offers popsicles and Yakult. It's fantastic! I suggest offering both throughout the day. Because I left early morning, I didn't get to try the delicious Yakult! Also, regarding the "late-night snack - ramen," I want to commend the staff—the auntie who cooked the noodles. She actually accepted my sister's strange request: several soft-boiled eggs for her second bowl of noodles! Thank you so much!

Dormy Inn Akita completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything felt smooth, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. The location is very convenient, making it easy to explore the city, but what truly sets this hotel apart is the overall quality of the experience — it’s the kind of place where every detail feels intentional. The breakfast spread was outstanding. There was a wide variety of dishes, all fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. It genuinely felt like a full culinary experience rather than a standard hotel breakfast. It set such a positive tone for the day that I found myself looking forward to it as soon as I woke up. Another highlight was the free late‑night soba. It’s such a simple gesture, but it adds so much warmth and hospitality to the stay. After a long day out, being able to enjoy a comforting bowl of noodles before heading to bed was incredibly satisfying. The public bath was one of the best I’ve seen. It’s huge, spacious, clean, and very relaxing — a perfect way to unwind. The amenities provided were top‑class, and the entire bathing area felt premium and well maintained. It’s clear that the hotel puts real effort into making this facility a standout feature. The staff were amazing as well. Everyone we interacted with was polite, helpful, and genuinely warm. Their attentiveness made the stay feel even more special.

Though the rooms were small it was comfortable, nice and very clean. Loved that there was a beautiful public Onsen to use. The hotel is also only 5-7 min walk from Akita station and close to the hiking paths you can use to explore the amazing city. I would definitely come back to stay.

Very good location for station and museums. Nice restaurants nearby. The park is just across the road and the Kants cultural centre is close to walk and we'll worth a visit. Art museum coffe shop very relaxing. If you are interested in Samurai then Kakunodate is close by and retains true architecture and museums artifacts

Best hotel in Japan! There is outdoor onsen with beautiful landscape. The free ramen is delicious but it only available from 9.30-11.30pm. Some other freebies. Walking distance from Akita station and Senshu Park.

We had their breakfast buffet on our last morning before we checked out, it was nice and a very decent spread (if you have stayed in Business Hotels in Japan, it is similar to that). Their toothbrushes are so good.. Rooms were once again exceptional, although no bathtub in the rooms (only showers), there's always onsen baths available at Dormy Inn. Free Yakult in the morning, Free mini drink bar and ICE CREAM in the afternoon, and Complimentary Ramen at night, If you love free things, just book a stay here, you won't be disappointed!
