It was all good. We had pizza for dinner which was very tasty. We could park our motorcycle directly in front and to the left of the front door and another guest parked their car directly behind us so that it couldn't be easily seen nor taken.

We arrived late, and the staff guided us clearly on where to park. The hotel is very cozy, warm, and comfortable, which was especially nice after a long journey. The atmosphere felt welcoming, and the staff was kind and hospitable. Due to road blockages, we could not reach the hotel on our original booking date, and the hotel kindly allowed us to use the booking a few days later, which we truly appreciated. Check-in was smooth, and photographing passports seems to be a standard procedure in Morocco.

A cozy place. There’s a pizzeria downstairs, and breakfast is served in the morning. The beds are comfortable, and there is hot water. It’s worth remembering that this is a high-mountain area, and the house is tucked between the mountains, so it doesn’t get sunlight for very long. This means it can get cold quickly. We were given a heater, and there are also plenty of thick blankets. The owner helped us a lot when we needed assistance with the language to contact a mechanic and the company from which we rented the car. The mountains and the gorge are incredible — absolutely breathtaking!

We stayed for one night on our way from Merzouga and it turned out to be a great choice. The riad is charming, clean, and has a nice local vibe. The terrace has lovely views, and we were welcomed with mint tea, which was a really nice touch. Everyone was very friendly and the food was really tasty.

“Owner cannot be trusted.”

Nothing as it was closed. We were misled during the day of arrival that it was open but Mohammed essentially fraudulently tricked us into staying at his house instead by only admitting it was closed when we met him after a long journey along a mountain road at 9pm at night - when we no longer had an opportunity to find anywhere else

Mohammad was a great host. He went out of his way to make sure I was totally serviced, He helped with planning a hike and even picked me up off the road without pre-arranging. He was very helpful.

We stayed two nights in february 2025. The host was very kind and took good care of us. We had access to a rooftop terrace which was nice. Also the room had airconditioning but we did not used it. The breakfast was good, with fresh fruit. The accomodation is CLEAN and nicely decorated/painted. Also, Achmed put on the heater and fireplace for us, even though we were the only guests!

Great food served at the restaurant for dinner and good breakfast. Spacious room and friendly host.
