It’s a wonderful place — the people made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The hotel has a beautiful traditional Moroccan village-style design, full of charm and character. We also had dinner there, and the food prepared for us was absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. The owner is also an official tour guide, and he took us on a hike along the river and up into the mountains. The views and panoramas were simply incredible.

We loved the beautiful big family room. It was very well decorated and the beds are very comfortable. The views from the rooftop were amazing. The food was very good and the staff very friendly.

We would 100% recommend Dar Essalama to anyone staying in the Dadesvalley. The hospitality is amazing, they really do everything possible to make your stay wonderfull. The rooms are beautiful. The food is great, we especially loved the berber omelette at breakfast!

Very well decorated and kept!

We stayed one night at Dar Essalama, we arrived late and tired after a long trip. They were extremelly helpfull, cooked dinner for us eventough kitchen was closed. They made us feel very welcome, special thanks to Ahmad for his delitious beberer omelete, the best!!! Thanks, hope to see you again!

Ahmed is the best, was funny (his biggest joke was, to tell me there is no heating, but we had a beautiful ofen with enough wood, enough blankets ánd on top, a hot water bottle…..) good cooking (meal was delicious, breakfast too), hospitable…. We were gazing the stars on the terrace. Very colored, big room…. Will would come back, if we do the trip again, you never know. Shukran (Tanmirt)

Beautiful house with rooms furnished with traditional Morroco furniture! The food, both dinner and breakfast, was also great and the staff was very friendly and helpful!

“Not the best place to stay”

The location is convenient for the zigzag road. There are a few decent restaurants in the direct vicinity of the hotel (so you don't have to eat there). Breakfast was one of the better ones we've had in Morooco.

A unique berber experience with outstanding hospitality and delicious food. Moha is an official guide and I made amazing hikes with Moha. I felt safe and comfortable. He knows the most beautiful hikes in unknown places.
