“Great stay at a modest local guesthouse”
I really enjoyed this authentic guesthouse, on a quiet street leading up to the castle. The host Nokolai makes you feel welcome right away. I had my own twin bed room, with private shower/bathroom, soft towels and dependable hot water, and heating for chilly nights. Grab the generous meal offer, 15 lari dinner and 10 lari breakfast, good, generous home,-cooked meals. It's worth staying a second night to visit Vardzia, just a 5-min walk to the bus station.

It was 5 minutes walk from the bus station & also the castle. Nicholas is so lovely he was really helpful telling us bus times for Vardzia & back, he also made a great breakfast for our 2 night stay, nothing was too much trouble for him, he's a lovely man. Our room was lovely & very clean & comfortable.

The room was big, comfortable, clean, and the shower was excellent. Nicholas, the host, was really helpful and always looking for help me with everything I needed. The location is also great, less than 5 minutes to the bus station and also less than 5 minutes to the castle.

“Excellent Host. Clean, Comfortable Room. Amazing Value”
Nikolas warmly greeted us upon arrival and he was the perfect host. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with the addition of a small sofa and table. Our room was bright with a window featuring a lovely view to the castle. The bathroom was also clean and there was plenty of hot water at the shower. Towels were fresh and clean. We found the bed to be comfortable with fresh, clean sheets. The room also had a fan and a mirror with a shelf and hooks. An electric kettle, coffee/tea mugs and wine glasses added a nice touch. Strong wi-fi signal and a reliable connection with fast download and upload speeds. Excellent location below the town's castle, steps away from quaint restaurants, local shops and the central marshrutka station. In all, a very peaceful stay and an excellent value. This was our first accommodation in Georgia and it was the perfect choice. Thank you. Nikolas!

“Very beautiful”
The accommodation is very close to the fortress. The hosts are very nice and helpful. We were happy to take advantage of their offer and order dinner. The lady of the house prepared for us homemade chinkali, salad, pickled eggplant, we tasted homemade cheese and at the end we had dessert. The room is comfortable, sanitary facilities were part of it. Thank you for a wonderful 2 days in Akhaltsia

Super host! Best location, - right close to the castle and shops, etc. Kitchen is downstairs, you can cook. Everything fits the place description. No problems with parking.
