It was a bit of a hike up the hill with two suitcases but then we didn't have a local SIM as yet. The peaceful location has a great view of the fortress.

The room was well equipped. The breakfast was good and they offer homemade wine.

Beautiful location with stunning view on castle, comfortable beds, veryquietto have good nightsleep,clean and cute village apartment... very beautiful to sit outside and enjoy peace in beautiful taken care place that owner in maintaining all the time... Amazing hospitality, vine tasting from grapes that grow above terrace and owner make vinegar from them.. Beautiful simple but freshly prepared breakfast from owners wife, very clean, tasty. Great hosts, very helpful, friendly. Welcomed us with local wines and juice for kids. Gave some tips for visiting castle and nearby and restaurant. All clean in the rooms, comfy.

It's a family run hotel. It's actually more like a guest house or home stay. The parents don't speak English but the main contact speaks good English and is very helpful. She sent the exact Google map location to make sure it's easy to find the place. The hotel is on top of the hill with the view of the city's fortress. The breakfast was made in house and was adequate. It's in a good location, walking distance to the fortress the old town streets with restaurants. There's also a washing machine, which is a bonus. The owner even gave us a complimentary bottle of home made wine 🍷. Then he gave us a drive down to the old street and recommended a restaurant for dinner. We'd definitely stay here again if we're back in this town.

“Perfect place in Akhaltsike”

We stayed 3 nights at the guesthouse and enjoyed every minute. The host family is super lovely, very welcoming and caring. We even got a nice breakfast and a ride to the border (very reasonable price). The apartment was perfect, had everything we needed and even more (a washing machine!). The bed was super comfy and the terrace nice to sit in the sun. The location is at the edge of the town (very quiet at night time ) yet only a few minutes walk away to the fortress and town centre. We'd definitely can recommend this sunny guest house!

The room is spacious, attached with a kitchen. There is a washing machine in the kitchen. Owner is friendly and the location is very convenient, close to bus station and the castle
