Very friendly stuff and nice rooms inside the main attraction of the town. Room had some damage here and there that I wouldn't expect from such a hotel but oh well. All it all it's good and moving your luggage for like 100m won't kill you too.

The receptionist welcomed us super friendly and always answered every question with a smile. Extraordinarily for Georgia. The spa amenities were great and in general we really liked the hotel.

“Not as expected.”
Inaccessible directly by car. Need to drag luggage through cobble road for a few hundred meters. Hard to find the hotel entrance. Only one staff speaks English, and given wrong information about the castle. Ants in the room. The room was too warm in the afternoon, without air conditioner or electric fan. Noisy at night from late arrival guests (room not soundproof)

“Amazing to stay in the castle!”
Lovely hotel and a great location, actually within the castle boundaries! The room was comfortable and clean and had a cute balcony looking into the patio space below. We also really enjoyed visiting the spa, which had many different features available for use including multiple types of sauna and steam rooms.

The location is fantastic. There's a restaurant downstairs that works till 11pm (the kitchen closes at 10pm), the food was great, both dinner and breakfast. The room was clean and quite spacious

Spacious and clean room with comfortable bed. Cozy and quiet atmosphere around. Helping staff. Enjoyed spa center after all day spent in Vardzia. Tasty food in restaurant. And very good breakfast with coffee!!! Highly recommend this hotel!!!
