“a clean and safe place to stay with a fantastic location easily walkable to everything”
location was great, a few mins walk to main road in town, the castle, bus station, convenience stores etc. you are in a family's home, so expect kids running around inside and outside the house. very clean, and great shower pressure. nice areas to sit in the backyard and front of house bench for people watching.

Staying with Nato and Paata was one of our best experiences in Georgia. The bed was very comfortable, the room was spotless clean and the location is perfect. We also had very nice talks with both of them and we liked a lot their authentic and warm vibe. Paata drove us to the main tourist attractions around (including Vardzia) for a fair price and also gave us some explanations. 200% recommended !

“Lovely stay”
Super friendly owner, clean room with private bathroom, very good location, very tasty breakfast and dinner! I really love Nato's food. She also helped me to arrange a driver to Vardzia, Khverti Fortress, Sapara Monastery at a reasonable price (the driver is also good)! I had a good time in Akhaltsikhe.

It was pleasure to stay with Host family. Very friendly and welcoming people, you feel like you are really at your own family. Communication was easy and straightforward. Room is very clean and well maintained. Especially I liked bed which was very comfortable. There are some others complaining shower is too close to toilet, but it is usual for traditional Georgian homes. If you want generic international experience then why are you looking for "family host" at all? Great value for money.

Lovely guest house with everything you need within 5 minutes to the castle. You should also go for breakfast and dinner in their nice backyard garden.

“Beautiful room, perfect location, friendly host, excellent value”
It's a little family run guest house but the room I had was elegant like a hotel room and it had a modern en-suite bathroom - luxury for a budget traveller. The WiFi worked well which is important for me. The host was friendly and helpful. And the location is just perfect: a minute from both the bus/marshrutka station and the fortress, right in the center of town in the flat part, so you don't have to climb any hill with your luggage.
