“Great place to stay excellent throughout…..”

It was exceptional very nicely furnished everything we needed for our stay

On the positive side I agree with the other reveiws; no need to add more. The steep road into town was no problem for us and it rewarded us with superb views from higher up.

Our second time at Newton Heights was even more pleasant than our first time two years ago. We were welcomed as friends. Thank you very much, Gail and Brendon. Your place is our favourite in New Zealand.

We loved the generous and delicious continental breakfast especially the fresh yoghurt and daily warm croissants and the trio of lovely jams home-made by Gail. Loved the Coffee machine and the comfortable and roomy unit which so tastefully decorated and our hosts were friendly and welcoming too. To top it all off, the location/view was truly wonderful!

Gail and Brendan were incredible hosts who were so welcoming and accommodating. Our bedroom and ensuite had everything that we needed including the little touches of chocolates beside the bed, bottled water, luxurious robes and toiletries. Our bed was like sleeping on a cloud and super comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served on the deck overlooking Akaroa's surrounding hillside and harbour.

The Kingfisher unit that we stayed in was really brilliant. Modern, beautifully decorated and super comfortable. We loved the balcony that wrapped around it and the awesome views from it. The quality of everything at Newton Heights was excellent and Gail and Brendon were superb friendly hosts. Lovely breakfast on our terrace and the hot tub was amazing to sit in and take in the views or the stars at night!
