“Great spot off the main roads”

I loved the amazing bird song when we stepped out if the car, close enough to town to walk but far enough to be well away from it all.

Gardens were beautiful. Cottage was lovely with the loft rooms. So quaint. Fruits and flowers from the garden in the room. A real gem.

The kitchette needs a cooktop and cooking pots to enable meals to be cooked so that there is no need to go into town to eat.

Very friendly hosts and the cottage was very quiet and comfortable. Perfect for what we needed.

Beautiful surroundings, with a courtyard and garden. Friendly owners, beautiful flowers in the cottage for our arrival. Quality breakfast options and even some fruit provided. Really enjoyed our stay. It was so peaceful and great location!

“Waking up to birdsong”

We stayed two nights and greatly enjoyed the hospitality of our hosts (and their lovely dog). The cottage was homely and comfortable, and it was lovely waking up to birdsong every morning. Note that the bedroom is up a narrow flight of steps, so we kept our luggage down in the sitting room by the entrance. We had lovely walks up to the vineyard and met the local sheep, and the main town area of Akaroa is just a short 4mins drive away.

The overall setting is beautiful; surrounded by a lovely expansive garden and nestled in the hills of the Banks Peninsula. The most comfortable bed and pillows imaginable and with lovely linen, quality sleep almost certainly a given!

Peter and Paula are super nice and friendly! We had a really good rest at their place and will definitely come back again. Their dog is also very cute!

The property location was stunning. Gorgeous rolling hills and fantails everywhere.

The perfect cottage. Beautiful surroundings / garden. Very private. Great warm athmosphere. Peter and Paula are the perfect hosts. 3th time for me here. I hope I can visit again.

Lovely peaceful location surrounded by bush. Well equipped with nice rustic features. The dawn chorus was amazing and such a fond memory of our two night stay in such a nice property.

So peaceful. Beautiful setting. Paula and Pete had thought of everything you might need. Rustic charm . We had a car problem and they were very helpful and caring.
