The location was great, and a perfect starting point for exploring Oboke and the Iya Valley. Ryu was a great host, he picked us up from the station as he knew it was going to rain, and also helped us out with finding the best hikes. Beds were really comfortable, and the kitchen supplied with all you need to cook a nice meal.

The staff is really helpful. The Property is a little bit aside of the road. It is quite, but a little bit far away from the railways station. There is a real kitchen to cook a dinner.

A traditional house in a quiet but accessible area, beautiful views of the mountains, and a very attentive host who is making sure guests have a relaxing and comfortable stay and cares for visitors' personal preferences. The kayak tour with Ryu was a lot of fun, sharing not just skill but also love for nature and the region, beautiful hike recommendations included. Thank you, until next time!

Nice Japanese style house/hostel. Common kitchen. Close to station and small store. Large 4 person room.

The host was friendly and helpful. The guesthouse was in a fantastic location.

Very comfortable bed, great views and great location close to Ōboke train station, easy to get to. Traditional Japanese house. I recommend taking part in kayaking activities as well.

Beautiful place! We went kayaking with the host and lt was such a nice experience. We got picked up and dropped off at the station, so we didn't have to walk with our luggage. There's a kitchen so you can cook for yourself, which we appreciated after eating out for 2 weeks.

We loved the hospitality and kindness of Ryu (owner / host). We loved the magestic scenery of the Iya Valley.

The location and parking for our small car was fine. The sound of the river and high water bath. The host was accommodating regarding our later-than-planned arrival. He was busy making sure the kitchen was clean for us as we hadn't yet eaten.

Thankfully the staff came to pick me up in the evening because it's so dark and if you don't know the area, it can be hard to get there, so definitely keep communication with the place. It was quite easy to find other spots once daylight came and all at walking distance. The valley is amazing and I imagine lively during summer and warmer times, for the autumn is quieter but still great nature and interesting sightseeing.

Great place, very homey and has everything you need even free laundry. The owner is also very nice.
