Very Bad Experience – Not Recommended We had a highly disappointing experience with Shreeguru Guest House, Akkalkot. We paid ₹1,000 in advance as the supervisor insisted that payment was required to hold the rooms, especially since we were about to reach Akkalkot. However, upon our arrival, he suddenly created a story that the rooms were already booked. Instead, we were shown a so-called homestay located in front of the hotel, which was in very poor condition—extremely unhygienic, badly maintained, and lacking basic facilities. Due to the unacceptable cleanliness and overall condition, we refused to stay and immediately asked for a refund of the advance amount. This was denied, and we were given multiple excuses instead of a proper solution or apology. This experience reflects unprofessional behavior, lack of transparency, and poor customer ethics. Such practices cause serious inconvenience and frustration to travelers, especially those coming from far away. I strongly do not recommend booking this guest house. Please be cautious and avoid advance payments here to prevent facing a similar unpleasant situation.

It was a nice stay with shriguru guest house in akkalkot. Highly recommended for families. A fully safe and secure place for staying with family in akkalkot. The owner is a very very very nice person and helpful. outdoor parking is also available with 24*7 CCTV surveillance. very nice place. and the one and only place i like in akkalkot for stay. breakfast, lunch and dinner are also available if u really want tasty and organic food on vacation. really very nice service. thanks

I m not taking a break fast. But dinner is excellent. And location is very Good as I want near the Shree स्वामी समर्थ temple.

Food was homely and tasty. Room was clean as also the washroom and towels, bedsheets, etc. were also clean. Water jug needs to be provided in the room.

A well furnished room with sufficient lights and cleanliness was there.Crompton company's best gyser for hot water was available.Also best healthy food was served to us.Proper guidance for Swami Samarth darshan was given.Also they provided good transportation services at our required time.And room rate was very nice and affordable. There is a guy, who looks after the whole setup. He is the manager cum everything. His family supplies the cooks the food and he supplies if you choose to order from them. He is friendly and approachable but bon AC rooms or.good and AC room is dingy smelly and congested. As the facility is home stay and basically caters to a group of people who visit the pilgrimage centre. The hotel is not too far from the temple , ( around 1.5 km). It is a residential area.
