Overview
Boasting hot spring baths with mountain views, Kutsurogijyuku Chiyotaki is a 15-minute bus ride from JR Aizuwakamatsu Station. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant and unwind in a private hot spring bath with views that was open in July 2017. Free WiFi is available in all rooms. All guest rooms have a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle. Slippers and a hairdryer are provided for guest's comfort. An on-site restaurant offers Japanese local cuisine and sake. There is a Japanese sake bar available on site from the evenings. You will find a shared lounge fitted with various books and complimentary tee and coffee. Guests can unwind in an open-air hot spring baths with mountain views on the top floor, and they can enjoy free access to hot spring baths at the sister property in the vicinity. Aizu Higashiyama Onsen is 100 metres from Kutsurogijyuku Chiyotaki, while Mount Iimori is 2.8 km from the property.

“An incredible stay in cozy facilities”
the hotel is in a gorgeous location and the facilities were modern, clean and created a lovely vibe. The staff were super friendly and patient with us and took the time to translate and help explain how everything worked with the onsens. the breakfast buffet was something we looked forward to everyday, and the private bath was incredible!

“Definitely returning for second stay”
The buffet option caters for solo traveler meals. Place had a rustic feel but was very well maintained and did not feel run down at all.

A few days before the start of our journey, the hotel contacted us to say that they were unfortunately unable to provide us with the room due to work. However, they offered to book a room for us at their partner hotel, which was only a few minutes' walk away at Kutsurogijuku Shintaki. The staff were very accommodating and even when we asked for a vegan dinner, everything was made possible. We were very satisfied.

Very authentic Japanese style accommodation with fantastic hospitality.. Excellent facilities and we will definitely visit again. We had buffet breakfast and the food was delicious. We should have stayed 2 nights.

Breakfast is excellent. So many type and variety of food. nice display and service. Onsen on 10 floor is nice and less crowded ( specially in the morning) than other hotels.

nice big room with balcony. view on the mountain side. loved the yukata they provided. they are not always this nice. ^^ we appreciated the onsen very much as we walked a lot during our stay in Aizu.

Nice outdoor onsen; dont forget to try the other 2 onsens at the nearby sister hotel. Buffet-style dinner and breakfast have good spread of dishes.

“Great stay in Higashiyama!”
The onsen on the 10th floor was absolutely gorgeous. The dinner and breakfast buffets were diverse and really good. The room had a lovely view on the mountain and the bed was super comfortable. The staff was also super nice.

“Perfect to relax for a weekend”
We liked the cozy atmosphere of the hotel. The onsen on the top floor had beautiful views - we were lucky enough to be surrounded by a beautiful winter landscape. The lounge with free drinks (including sake and umeshu) were a nice touch! And we did enjoy the buffet breakfast and dinner a lot - the quality surpassed our expectations for a hotel buffet. It was really yummy and plenty of choice, always fresh. Very nice place for families or if you want to explore the cute little city of Aizu-wakamatsu
