Overview
Only a 5-minute drive from JR Aizuwakamatsu Train Station, Hotel Route-Inn Aizuwakamatsu features simple modern accommodations and a free-breakfast for all guests. Free wired internet is available in all rooms and you can refresh in the spacious public baths. Contemporary rooms are furnished with amenities from a flat-screen TV and a fridge, to nightwear and toiletries. An air humidifier and an extra pillow are available on request. Laptops can be rented at the front desk and a coin-operated launderette is on-site. Guests can relax in the massage chairs and use the free-use computers. The free breakfast buffet is available from 06:45-09:00 at the dining area. Hana-Hana-Tei serves Japanese favourites and sake from 18:00-22:00 (last order at 21:30, closed Sundays). Aizuwakamatsu Route-Inn Hotel is a 10-minute drive from Tsururga Castle and a 30-minute drive from Lake Inawashiro. Sazaedo is a 5-minute drive away.

Good size room, very clean, walkable to bus stops and local food, supermarket. Not.central in town but that was good as the town shuts down in the evening!

“Top choice for self driving trips”
Most Hotel Route Inn have the parking spaces in front of the entrance , which is very convenient for us on a road trip. It is very flexible and convenient vehicle dispatch.

Excellent breakfast. Close to the city with many supermarkets nearby. We traveled by car and had free parking. We didn’t expect an onsen, which was great for relaxing.

“It was ok”
Staff very nice. Breakfast it was ok. The wash machine and dry machine was very good and easy to use. They changed everyday the password from the woman public bath.

“Great standard hotel”
For a standard hotel we were surprised with the size of the room and the amenities of the hotel (public bath included). The breakfast was simple but fine and the location is very easy to find. There a lot of shops and restaurants close-by for those traveling by car.

“Average Hotel But Priced Slightly High”
The availability of a complimentary carpark right at the hotel and a public bath (onsen style) is a plus. The hotel is within walking distance to many eateries and shopping malls for daily necessities. There were quite a number of laundry machines and dryers available, which is rare in Japan.
