“The most amazing camp”

Me and my partner tried to find something wrong with this place and we couldn't. Absolutely everything here exceeded my expectations. One of the best spots to stay in the masai mara. Having the hippos down below in the river whilst you have your meals is just amazing. It's so peaceful and calm it's just the most perfect setting for a safari. The food was absolutely outstanding. Me and my partner didn't have one bad meal in the 4 nights we were there. The waiters were fantastic. So professional and nice. Every member of staff was so lovely to us and made our stay so special. The rustic African vibe this camp gives is amazing. The interior is fabulous. The tents are incredible. All private and secluded from eachother. Makes you feel like you're the only ones there. A special mention to our game driver Simon. He made the trip for me. He is an encyclopedia of knowledge on the mara and the animals. There is literally nothing he doesn't know. He learned us so much. He's so experienced and knows all the best spots to see the animals. He went above and beyond everytime we were in the vehicle with him to make our drives memorable and to see things we hadn't yet seen. He played a huge part in my trip for me and I was sad to say goodbye. This trip has been a dream of mine for so long and this camp will forever hold a special place in my heart and memories. Thank you all so much for being such great hosts. We will definately be back someday.

Superb staff service including meals & menu, we saw about 40 lions, a zebra kill, a leopard, plenty other animals and tented facilities top class.

The staff were amazing, all very helpful and friendly. The food was fantastic, all a la carte and all delicious! We loved every second of this trip and won't hesitate to book again. Special thanks to our guide Paul, who did a fantastic job. He has so much knowledge of the area and of the animals. He seamed to be able to track animals down before anyone other guides knew about them.

A fabulous place to stay for a safari experience. The staff made our stay very special and certainly contributed to the experience. Game drives with Dominic exceptional, a very knowledgeable and friendly guy. The Camp staff from Geofrey the manager to the security staff could not have done more to make our stay so memorable. We will definitely return one day as we consider these people friends after such a great stay.

“Most beautiful lodge with amazing staff”

The staff were truly amazing, mary, Samson, kenne, joshuat, kaka, samuel and John. They treated us like family, they bent backwards for us and arranged drinks in the mara with so many added surprises it was beautiful. Samson our guide was a gem, he showed us so many things and never gave up on finding all of the animals we saw so many with him. He was so good natured and kind. Mary was our host she was so considerate and remembered our drink orders and requirements and arranged a special cake for our anniversary. Kenne our waiter was so attentive and fun, joshuat our chef cooked everything to perfection the beef will remain in my heart forever. Kaka and John our guards and Samuel who cleaned our room. The site itself was so close to the airport and we can see hippos elephant and giraffe from the tent by the river.

Everything - especially the staff they made the stay exceptional kind helpful could not do enough for us. They surprised us with a special sundowner at the end of our stay just to be kind they really did go above and beyond. The food was always delicious with ample choice the chef really was so so great. Dominic our guide for the game drives has vast knowledge every question we asked him he knew the answer to and he drove us far and wide around the park so we could see as many animals as possible. We got to see elephants lions crocodiles hippos to name a few really was the most surreal experience. Geoffrey the manager is the most conscientious kind polite guy always ensuring we were happy and had everything we needed - which we did at all times. Our tent was tastefully decorated comfortable bed clean fresh towels and bedding. We would go to breakfast and our tent had been cleaned and bed made before we had got back to head off to our game drive within 30 minutes so punctual. Considering your staying in the middle of the wilderness quite literally it felt like home Thank you so much to everyone at Mara Explorer we can’t wait to come back.

Mara explorer was amazing! All the employees are phenomenal. The rooms are in the center of the park with a beautiful river view and private feel. The food from the chef is always tasty and fancy. Our tour guide Samson was super nice, accommodating, knowledgeable, and always found great things for us to see. At camp Geoffrey the manager always helped us organized everything to perfection and Collins attended us with great care at the restaurant and room service. The rest of the crew was always great and they took care of us like family! Look no further and book this place, it will not disappoint you!
