The rooms and the whole building is very good looking. I was there with my bicycle 🚲. Breakfast and dinner was also very good. The owner was very kind ... I enjoyed the stay very much. The WIFI was not the greatest but sometimes it's good to have bad wifi 😁

The room was nice, water was hot for shower. It’s a strange set up as your’e basically in the private home of the host and the family stay in some of the rooms. This is not made clear in the marketing material. Perhaps promoting as. Homestay would be more appropriate. I had a discussion about a quiet room on arrival with the host and was then woken at 0045 by the host and his family having a late dinner in the kitchen next to my room. I had to get up and ask if they could be quiet as their chat was normal volume and not acceptable for the middle of the night. During breakfast after 8am I was talking with the only other guests and the host asked us to be quiet as his wife or young child were still sleeping. Make of this what you will. All in all not an unpleasant stay but not a place I would rush back to and I booked based on the reviews which of course are always subjective but my experience was not in line with other reviewers.

Samir was an excellent welcoming host who made sure we were comfortable and well looked after. Beautifully decorated house and comfortable bed (possibly the biggest bed we’ve ever slept in!) Excellent dinner and breakfast of typical Moroccan dishes.

The check-in and check-out process was smooth, with no communication issues, and the owner was nice and friendly, even allowing us to pay in EUR. The accommodation has a beautiful garden with a seating area. The breakfast was tasty, prepared by the owner exactly at the time we requested. The owner maintained good communication throughout our stay, making us feel valued as guests. Parking was available but not exactly next to the accommodation.

Highly recommend the dinner!

We stayed 18+19 february 2025 at Dar Tadout. Samir was very nice host and took good care of us. The breakfast and dinner were very tasty and elaborate. We payed €16/person/day. That included a bottle of water and some tea during the day which was basically free of charge. Only during dinner there was soft background music playing which was appropriate and nice. I highly recommend this accomodation. The review of the Austrian Lutz Hudelist below I cannot understand. We stayed simultaneously at the accomodation and they seemed happy with their stay and cannot think why they would score so low. It is a DAR, not a luxury hotel. The owner sleeps in one room but is very privacy-minded and low-profile. During your stay you can do a walk to nearby village to view the mountains in the distance and have coffee during the day. Very nice polite and friendly people in village. There is plenty of space in the garden to sit outside and there is WiFi.

I had a really excellent stay at Dar Tadout. The owner Safir is a wonderful host and made me feel very welcome during my stay. The room was lovely, clean and the bed was very comfy. It was a perfect location for access to the Atlas Mountains which I was cycling in during the day. Safir really helped me out when I needed to book a taxi for only my bike box and not myself back to Marakesh. The food is exceptional and I had a wonderland time. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Morocco. Thanks!

“Authentic Morocco experience hotel”

Dar Tadout was pleasant, the owner received us even though our plane was delayed and we arrived later then expected. It is the perfect place to sleep one night on your way to Uarzazate. The breakfast was very good, the owners wake up in the morning and cook a traditional warm breakfast for you, which was very nice. Overall it was a very good traditional experience in Morocco.
