“Fantastic, best stay we had”

This was the best kasbah we stayed at. It was beautifully decorated, with attention to every detail. The place itself is stunning, with a magnificent view. The beds were also very comfortable — not as hard as in some other kasbahs — and had lovely blankets. The walls of the room were beautifully painted. The shower is real good. Every is very well cleaned. It is quiet. In short: the whole atmosphere was wonderful. But the main reason we would definitely book this place again is because of the people and the food. The staff were very attentive and friendly. They really do their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. And the food was amazing: the soup, all the dishes, the presentation — so many details and flavours. In one word: wonderful!

“Stunning small hotel with great staff and amazing chef”

The hotel has been designed with style and an eye for detail. Everything was spotless and the furnishings like rugs were beautiful. Also there are multiple spaces to relax and even in March with night time outside temperatures as low as 4 degrees the hotel was warm and cosy. Probably the best part are the staff and the amazing chef who delivered fantastic tasting and looking dishes. Absolutely stunning and will return.

Perfect breakfast, especially the variety and the way it was presented. Very friendly staff and you feel most Welcome. A very nice hot water shower.

"What a shame the owner’s chilling in Paris, too busy sipping coffee and eating croissants to actually look after her paying guests. Instead, she’s left a bunch of sweet but clearly under-trained young guys running the show — bless their hearts, they’re trying. Then there’s the genius decision to plonk this gorgeous hotel very tastefully done,( good style you have ) but the spot halfway up a mountain on a road so tight it’s basically a goat path. No car park? No problem! Just hike up a sketchy little dirt track , with your luggage, praying you don’t tumble off the edge. Because nothing says 'luxury getaway' like risking your life for check-in. People dropping serious cash deserve at least a fighting chance of arriving alive, right? I can already hear her sharp-tongued comeback — she’s got a good form for snapping at anyone who dares complain. But hey, she wasn’t there. She’s got zero clue beyond whatever her rookie staff whisper to her. Classic absentee-landlord energy: beautiful views of a breeze block wall and the beautiful Zen sound of a pack of dogs all night long on the very firm zen bed, zero accountability. Such a pity. It could be amazing… if someone actually cared."

“Wonderful place”

A little gem of a place, Kasbah Flilou is simply exceptional. I’ve been coming to the Dades Gorges for many years, and this is one of the very few properties that truly stands out from the rest of what’s available in the area. Everything is cared for down to the smallest detail, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the whole place has a lot of charm. Highly recommended.

Very beautiful and well decorated kasbah. The location is perfect to visit the valley, in a village that doesn’t feel touristic. We were surprised by the dinner…very good food and different than what we had in other locations. The personal is very helpful and friendly. Would definitely come back!

Everything was perfect. The rooms are amazing, the location is top and very quiet, and you can even start some beautiful hikes directly from the accommodation. But what truly made the biggest difference were the three guys who are there all the time at the hotel. Thanks to you, the stay was incredible — so welcoming, warm, and genuine. You really made the hotel special!

A beautiful Authentic region where you should spent a day or two to make beautiful hikes and meet very friendly local people. Not too touristic, still very authentic. Don’t just stop for a picture but stay a night or two, it’s really worth it! The place itself is very beautiful, the staf very helpful and friendly. The food is Good and the cook even adjusted his menu last minute to cook the fruit we got as a present from a locals Berber we met on our hike…

The quality of service and dining experience were exceptional putting on a marvelous feast each night and a sumptuous breakfast each morning. The 2 Muhummads were wonderful hosts and went out of their way to ensure we had a memorable stay.
