“A great place to stay in Dades”

A great place to stay in Dades. We spent three nights, using the guesthouse as a base for hiking. The suite room is large and a relaxing space to unwind at the end of a long day. The property is nestled just above the greenery along the banks of the river and is surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. Breakfasts were filling and we took advantage of the heart dinners on each of our nights. Note that the property is located at the end of an unpaved track, which it is perfectly possible to drive, but your car can also be left in a space near the main road.

“Very cosy place with a familiar atmosphere!”

We really love the place and the familiar atmosphere that the owner gave us, he was very helpful with the direction and he helped us to reach the place with our car. The location is very nice, facing the gorge and far from the crowd.

The hostess was very kind and lit the fireplace for us, and made us dinner. Two of the rooms had air conditioning, and the third was heated with an electric stove. In cold weather, this stove is not enough.

“If you want a beautiful view and a relaxed chill out stay”

Amazing owner with a generous breakfast and war attitude. On the New Year’s Eve the owner was so kind and waited until we were finished. The saloon has a chimney and we were warm there and in the spacious and nicely decorated rooms. The breakfast and the dinner are delicious. We enjoyed so much our stay and we were given a tour over the amenities and also the advice what to do. I would recommend it!!

Lovely accomodation and a very helpful and welcoming host. The room was a little cold at night in December but the host gave us extra blankets. Highly recommend this accomodation!

Everything, the place is beautiful and Mimoun gave us a very warm welcome explaining us quite a bit of Moroccan history and culture. The food was also amazing and everything was done with such a great eye for detail the decoration, the way the food was presented. Couldn't recommend more.

Mahmoud is an excellent host! From the moment we arrived, he made us feel welcome and important. He carried both our suitcases from the road, through a beautiful garden to the hotel, which is quite a distance. Both dinner and breakfast were an absolute feast, with course after course bought out of delicious homemade food, some from the garden. For an extra fee he accompanied us to the monkey fingers mountain, and guided us through the labyrinth there and helping us through difficult sections. I would definitely recommend, if only for the food!

“Excellent choice for Dades area”

We liked being in the valley, so close to the palmare and fields, far from any road. Staff very friendly. Service very good. We had dinner and breakfast and enjoy good food. Nice terrace, good facilities.

Gorgeous location away from road noise. The building is clean and well kept, the host family is delightful and their food is delicious.

The accommodation is located in the middle of beautiful nature. It is very clean and tastefully decorated. Dinner and breakfast are very delicious and plentiful, the owner is friendly and accommodating, and responsive to all messages. Maybe a hint: if you’re staying for one night, bring only backpacks, as you can reach the accommodation by walking along a beautifully designed path for about 5 minutes. But it’s worth it. I highly recommend it.”

“A wonderful memorable stay”

We had the most amazing experience at this traditional Moroccan accommodation!! My husband, my adult daughter and myself loved this place. Very clean and comfortable. Mattress nice and firm the way we like it. The host Mimoun is such a lovely man with a great sense of humour. He was so welcoming and even came and met us and helped us with our bags. . He served up the most delicious home cooked dinner and breakfast in a traditional dining room with a lovely open fire. Such a tranquil setting and beautiful view from the terrace. Perfect!

Beautiful place very close to the Gorges du Dades. We had the place to ourselves for the night and our host was very welcoming and attentive. We had good food and good conversation. We like a hard bed but the bed is very hard. You have to drive up a dirt track so if you’re not happy with that, you can park in a lay-by on the road and walk over.

The owner was very responsive to our messages and kind. He came to pick us up although we were pretty late. He prepaired us great breakfast. It was cold in February, but he supplied us with enough blankets and air conditioning so we were not cold. And the rooms were clean, the living room with fireplace and tea was welcoming. I appreciate he was willing to talk about living in Morroco. He is an open minded speaker who has pretty good idea about differences in way of living between different cultures (which are not measured only through money or family income). I highly recommend.
