The owner is super welcoming and sweet, told us a lot about Morocco, including the history and economics of the country, we speaks multiple languages and help us a lot with recommendations and must see places. We really enjoyed our stay at Auberge La Fibule du Dades. The room is simple but very clean, the roof terrace is amazing - very cosy with different colourful carpets and an amazing view at a mountain. We loved the talks with the host - he was very nice and made us feel like friends. Highly recommend!

“Mega Top!”

The best stay in all of Morocco and top of the top of a lot of places around the world! From the moment we arrived, Omar treated us as family members and made us feel like home. He is an exceptionally generous, nice and entertaining host with a golden heart. We wanted to stay only for one night and ended up regretting to leave after almost three days. The food was delicious, mega top! La Fibule is a beautiful property with an amazing rooftop (stargazing!), spotlessly clean and comfy and the rooms are nicely decorated. The location is fabulous, the gorge stunning and we took some hikes from there. Omar organised the best guide ever - Moha - for us on a very short notice. Moha is super friendly, dedicated, patient, calm, very knowledgeable, communicative, caretaking and shares a lot of information about the Amazigh culture and the stunning nature and fossils of the Dades valley. One can truly feel the passion and connection for their home. A big thank you to Omar, Moha and all the team of La Fibule for an unforgettable stay and incredible days of hiking, music and sharing. Don't miss out - we will be back!

We had the most amazing dinner here (huge portions) once we arrived. Omar was really friendly and helpful. This guesthouse is really beautiful and authentic, also easy to find. The neighbourhood is really quiet, you can only hear the nature at night.

Very nice auberge on a beautiful location close to the river and the Dades gorge itself. The owner Omar and his cousins and friends take hospitality to the next level. Always in for a chat, a drink and some laughs The food is excellent and homecooked by Omar. Terrace is simple but nice with great views

Wonderful hosts of this family auberge. We enjoyed a delicious dinner, complete with a music show by our host. Good breakfast to send us on our way The room was comfortable. We slept with the windows open and the road was loud sometimes.

Very charming place, quiet, surrounded by beautiful nature. Omar is a welcoming and friendly host. The breakfast was outstanding. We highly recommend this place! We stayed there for one night, and it was the best choice.

We were traveling on motorcycles, so this place was excellent to rest. Safe parking provided for motorcycles, beautiful terace, beautiful view, fresh air…owner was very friendly and helpful, tasty food for dinner and very nice breakfast…all food is prepared fresh.

This place is 12/10. Host are incredible, the place is the coziest and most photogenic place. Dinner and breakfast so good. We couldnt believe how nice it is to stay there.

The hosts were very warm and welcoming, with great communication. The Moroccan Salad we had there was very tasty, and the food was good value. Great location for a stop off on route to Erg Chebbi Dunes.

Lovely, friendly staff. We had a very warm welcome and a lovely meal. The riad a traditional, interesting and located at the far end of the gorge. We really enjoyed our stay.

I would give Omar 12 out of 10 if it would be possible as he is the perfect host, we received a very warm welcome and in the evening we had a lovely dinner by candlelight in a cozy warm area!! Nice breakfast too

We had a wonderful stay at this auberge – everything was just right! The rooms were clean, comfortable and cosy. The atmosphere warm and welcoming, and the food delicious. What really made the experience special were the two brothers who run the place. They are truly fantastic hosts: kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. We felt at home from the very first moment and would gladly return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine, cosy and friendly stay!
