“Felt like a second home in Agafay desert”

We went there for 3 nights and felt welcome right away. Hammed, Hamza and the whole crew were very kind and friendly. They helped us very much through the whole stay and even organized special day trips as we travelled with a small child and a wheelchair. The food was very good and to experience the evening show felt wholesome and special and the whole organization was A+ from start to finish.

Unique location, with an option for multiple activities.

The room is big and really nice the toilet and the shower are separated which is nice too, the interior is stunning, the pool, the food, the whole service was amazing, even the massage was really professional by Wesal, thank you Wesal.

The dinner and fireshow was done really professionally and in addition to the location. From the whole one week trip this was the most unexpected and memorable night

Everything about this place was fantastic. I couldn’t recommend it enough. I stayed here with my wife and we both loved it. The staff was incredible from start to finish. They were extremely polite and helpful.

“Disappointing”

Felt a little conned by the description of "restaurant, dinner show and pool". With this title we assumed that this would be included in the price, only to find out that it is an extra £35 per person for evening meal and dinner show. There is nowhere else to eat and so you have to pay this if you want an evening meal. The food was poor. My wife barely ate anything and I only ate because I was hungry. The tent accommodation was okay. Bed was large but not comfortable and the toilet/shower smelt of backed up drainage. Difficult to access by hire car as we found out. The address provided by Booking.com takes you to about 5km away and then you have to figure it out for yourself. This meant a 5km drive down difficult track terrain that we just about managed in our hired SUV. If you are to make it out here - use their shuttle to and from Marrakech.

The whole team were amazing! They were so kind and looked after us. The food was fabulous and it was a magic place. Thank you for everything! It was a fantastic stay.

Nothing. It was unkept, very dirty and my tent/room just smelt of stagnant water which was coming from the showers.

“CAMP INACCESSIBLE WITH A TAXI; LYING MANAGEMENT OF THE CAMP; BAD SUPPORT BY BOOKING”

I tool a taxi to go to the camp... and actually the road was blocked and not practicable. We were in the middle of the desert, with our luggages, impossible to reach the camp ! they proposed to come and pick us up with a quad !!?!! and actually we never could reach the camp. They said us to find another camp and that they would refund us. I filed a request for refund BUT THE CAMP REFUSED to refund, despite their promise. They just lied to me. Booking.com refused to force them to refund because their promise was on an audio on whatsapp and not a written commitment. I am very angry about that because, in addition, I paid much more for the other camp, and I had to cancel without refund the taxi of the day after back to the airport. I lost much money for people who should have told me that their camp was not reachable with a taxi. Angry on booking.com as well, as I am a very very very good customer and they just let me down.

It was an amazing experience. Everything was perfect, starting from transport from Marrakech, facilities, design of the whole camp, dinner with excellent food and artistic part.

“Value for money, nice activities and friendly staffs.”

The staffs were all helpful and the tent are decent. Consider clean in the desert where dust/sand are everywhere. Overall, it's really an enjoyable trip with the itinerary well planned. Need not to think of what to do at all as it's all planned for you in The Original Camp. We had great time there!

“Action Packed Day”

The we had none stop entertainment from the minute we arrived, we did the Buggy ride through the desert upon arrival at 5pm, then straight into dinner at 7pm after getting changed. We had live music, a traditional show, finished with a fire demonstration at 10:30pm. The set menu dinner was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

“A memorable night in the desert”

We really enjoyed our stay at The Original Camp. Taoufik helped us organise the transfer to the camp, which was included in the half-board package. Pick up and drop off were really smooth! The camp is in the middle of the Agafay desert, making it a unique experience. We did not do any activity, but simply enjoyed the tea and biscuits at check in, the stunning views from our tent, the small hike to see the sunset and later on the dinner and show. Really good entertainment with musicians and the fire artist.
