Its location is amazing. A must stay to avoid crowds and get the true feel of the ancient village. The host and his sister go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay and the food is remarkably tasty. The best we have eaten in our 3 weeks traveling around the country.

We had the most amazing stay. Such a special accommodation, with the kindest host. The whole place is with so much attention to detail, in every corner and very clean! A place you have to book when going to Ait Benhaddou.

“Living in a castle.”

An ideal place to stay if you want to experience Ait Ben Haddou after the tourist crowds have gone. You live in a castle, it's not a normal hotel like accomodition. The food was very good (don't forget to book dinner in advance).

“Unique and wonderful place to stay!”

Well, you can’t talk about the place without talking about the warmth of the host - he is incredibly lovely and clearly cares about making sure you have a pleasant stay. We had dinner at the property and it was truly the best tagine we had during the two weeks we were in Morocco. This is a very unique place to stay - right in the heart of the kasbah. Perfectly located to watch the sunset in the mountains and the sunrise over the kasbah in the morning.

Amazing place! We weren’t sure were are we going. We arrived almost at sunset. We were impressed by the hospitality of Aziz. He made the visit an experience. We talked to him about history and traditions and culture. He welcomed us with tea and recommendations for good food place because we didn’t booked food in advance. The breakfast was good. And the coffee was super good. The rooms were very well made, very clean. There is running water, very good shower conditions and our room had private bathroom. The bed was comfortable. There weren’t outlets. But there is USB outlet in the room. Also in the common sitting area there is an outlet. The host will let you know in advance of this. Parking is around 5 min walking distance. It is better if you leave your luggage in the car and take only the necessary things in a bag. You park in front of the mosque and the parking is safe.

“Such a Unique and Beautiful Place to Stay”

What a beautiful and unique place to stay. Beautifully decorated, unique and interesting spaces to hangout. A great rooftop to listen to music and look at the stars. Aziz was super helpful and very kind. We loved our stay here and would have liked to stay longer.

Everything ! The location, in the middle of the historical Ait benhaddou village with a wonderful view. You can’t access it with your cae, u have to leave the car on the modern part of Ait Benhaddou and walk through the gate (there some people who can help with luggage at a reasonable price, just ask the parking attendant). The Kasbah was cosy, very original, unconventional structure (like a maze) it’s a monument to visit in itself. Aziz was our host, very very kind, available, and full of ideas and good advices. Diner was delicious (you have to book it in advance so they can prepare), breakfast is good too. We would deeeefinitely come back !

The location of this hotel is simply sensational. Being right in the Kasbah gives a truly unique base to explore Ait Ben Haddou. At the end and start of the day you can beat the crowds who are yet to arrive and take full advantage of the best light of the day to see this majestic place. Aziz was so welcoming and attentive. We loved it.

“Special experience to stay in the old village”

The owner was so kind and calm, we could feel safe and relaxed especially after driving from Marrakech. Dinner, especially chicken Tajine was the best Tajine I’ve ever had in this trip :) To see the sunrise from the hill on the opposite side is a must!

“Peaceful stay right in the kashba!”

directly in the kashba, really pretty cozy accommodation! Really has a vibe with different levels, colorful interior, beautiful terraces! Especially in the evening when all the tourists are gone and early in the morning before tourist groups arrive it is really magical wandering through the empty streets. Highly suggest to get up early and take the 5-10min walk up the hill in front of the kasbah to watch the stunning sunrise!
